So this use to be my "go to" for coffee each morning for myself and sometimes my son if I catch him before work. I used to use the drive thru and notice no garbage barrel at any point along the drive thru. Never was an issue for me personally. I DID understand why people eventually got so frustrated that they piled their last coffee cups and garbage along the first (not used) window.
So I ran into the issue today. With no area to put my new coffee, I asked if the cashier could just throw away my old cup. She replied "no I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to take trash through the window" obviously they have run into this before. I mean, they have a sign where the barrel USED to be, telling everyone where the barrel is NOW. (All this instead of putting a barrel back) So I decided to cancel my order and go inside to talk to the manager.
I was told that it was against "policy" to take trash through the window. Then said it is a health dept violation. I said "ok"? Does the health department not allow a barrel along the drive through? (Knowing they have them at other dunks) and of course it is not against any code, they have just decided they don't want to empty an extra barrel. That's the only reason I can think of. They choose to do this even though it is a huge inconvenience for customers to stop, get out and throw something away. As anyone knows who goes here, this is not a spot you can just stop after the drive thru to throw something away. There is just no room.
I don't write these often. I also don't believe this is an employee problem. They serve with a smile usually and keep things moving.
But like many others I'm sure, they have lost my business because they refuse to just put a barrel out for customers in the drive thru line.
Silly when there are 3+ other dunks within less than a mile. I hope that someone realizes it's an issue and puts the barrel back. I would applaud a business actually having the (@#$#) to adapt when something...
Read moreNow I’m never one to write a bad review BUT felt it was necessary today. I work down the st from this dunks and wanted a coffee on my lunch break, so me and my coworker went through the drive through and ordered 2 of the new brown sugar shaken espresso drinks which we’ve had before at many places. When we received them we both tasted them and all we could taste was almond milk no coffee at all, now I’m not one that typically likes to go back and complain since I get nervous but I was very excited for the coffee and it didn’t taste right so I decided to go in. It was an Indian genetleman who helped me when I got in ( I apologize I don’t know his name), I was very nice about it and said I just ordered these in drive thru and I’ve had them before but they just taste like almond milk no coffee is there anyway you could remake them? & responded with an attitude “well yeah it’s like a latte..” and I said I understand that but I’ve had them before and it tastes different like there’s no coffee in it. He started to remake them and once I got the second round of drinks after giving back the first they tasted exactly the same but after the rude interaction I was too scared to ask them to be remade again so I left with the coffee I was unhappy with anyways. I hope the rest of the staff has better customer service...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. This is by far THE WORST Dunkin I've been to in Massachusetts. Been going here for years for convenience reasons and, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Without fail, something gets wrong. And I don't wanna hear "Covid this and Covid that" this place has sucked since way before that. The manager literally has zero idea what she's doing. There's only ever been one kid there who knew what he was doing and would actually get everything right and I appreciate him for that. I never got his name otherwise I'd shout him out. But other than that this place horrible. If I order online, they still get it wrong. I don't know how you get something wrong when it's literally written right in front of your face EXACTLY what needs to be on the order. Or I'll go in person and ask for something as simple as 2 lemon donuts and get something completely different. I've worked in food service, this really isn't hard but people at this store act like it's rocket science. Putting butter on the right bagel is...
