The other day I was there and it wasn't busy inside or out. I almost always request my fries to be without salt because I don't mind waiting. As soon as I grabbed my bag, I instantly seen that these fries were some of the oldest...probably due to it not being busy. I tried to give the cashier the fries back and I said " Oh I asked for fresh fries, these are kind of old. Can I have some new ones?" I wasn't snarky, rude or anything. Just simply asked for another batch. (I work in customer service, so I know some ppl say they weren't rude all the time, then play the tape back and they were very nasty. This was not my case.) He acted as if I personally offended him. He refused to accept the fries back...which is policy...im fine with that. He told me to go to the front of the building and wait. I asked if I needed to stand my a number and he said no. After waiting 15 minutes and seeing multiple cars go in and out of the drive thru, I go in and see a very nice manager, who had no idea I had been waiting. I asked if he has been told and he apologized and said no. He replaced my entire meal, asked if I wanted dessert. declined and thanked him but wow, the cashier never told him about me waiting. Read moreThis is hands down the worst McDonald's that I have been to. The food and cleanliness are what you expect from a McDonald's. However, the service is atrocious. Poorly trained and poorly informed staff, and the kitchen is always behind. I have yet to have an order that did not require the intervention of a manager, not because of anything on my end. This is for extremely basic functions, like the employee at the register not knowing how to enter a McPick 2, or failing to notify that an item is out of stock until the rest of the order has been bagged. This has been a consistent theme over the course of multiple visits. At the time of writing the lobby is under construction, which means the only way to order is via the drive thru, which has only increased frustration and delays. It is well worth your time to drive an extra five minutes for another McDonald's.
UPDATE: Was in a rush, so I decided to try the location again post-renovation. They've replaced counter staff with electronic kiosks, which is for the best. However, even during a slow period, it took the staff over ten minutes to make an Egg McMuffin. The same issues persist, and if I could I would rate this...
Read moreI simply asked to have a fish sandwich with no cheese on it. She snacked her lips loud through the microphone and grumbled, medium larrrrrrrgggge??? She was upset literally like how hard is it to leave some cheese off of a fish sandwich oh, I forget the sandwiches are premade and sitting for a long time and to make a fresh one it’s just too much of an inconvenience. And then when I tried to call the line remain busy signal for a very long time. No doubt on purpose. I checked their rating before I started writing this. Horrible no motivation to give good service none whatsoever.
20 minute Update: I just drove over to the Mayfield location.
