Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Worth Township

Worst Applebees I have ever came too. My server Jala was beyond disrespectful and rude. My family and I came here to enjoy our Monday night and from the moment we arrived it was bad.

Food took over 40 minutes to arrive. My husband ordered a hamburger. Server brought out a cheeseburger. He then told her he ordered it without cheese. She stared at him and took the plate not even an apology .Waited another 10 minutes for the burger. Then we were all about to eat when my chicken Alfredo pasta was super dry and had absolutely no sauce in it. I asked the waiter if she can bring over extra Alfredo sauce since my pasta had no sauce in it. She said she can but it will be extra. I got a little bothered because I had to pay extra for sauce that should have been added in the first place but whatever I said that was fine. Then the waiter takes my Alfredo sauce order and just stands by the bar for a good 5 minutes on her phone. I stare at her and wait. She then brings out drinks to other tables, she brings food to other tables, she brings a second round of water to the other table. I waited 15 minutes and nothing. I decide to take my kids to the washroom and come back within 3 minutes. And it finally arrived on my table. My food was already cold from waiting for the sauce. I finally get to eat and I’m already super bothered by the fact that it took so long to bring out sauce. The sauce that was brought over didn’t taste good at all it tasted old and sour…. As I am eating my cold pasta I see our waiter JALA talking really loud with another waiter talking about us and laughing about my family and I. I heard everything she was saying because she was literally 1 table away from us. She then came to my table and asked if everything was okay. I was very annoyed and over it already. She was like no? You guys arnt okay? I then told her no we wernt because they where talking about us as we where sitting 1 table away from them. And they took almost 20 minutes for the pasta sauce to arrive. She then said they weren't talking about us but another table from earlier and that the sauce took a long time because the cook took a long time to cook the sauce and she also said she brought it over a long time ago and I took long to come out the washroom with my kids.….. I was not gone for longer than 3 minutes and she said I took too long in the washroom that’s why it felt long. Aside from all this we got home and my husband started vomiting the burger I wouldn’t be surprised if they did something to it. we had a bad experience here before and tried to give this location a second chance but today really proved it to be not worth our time or money at all. As I am writing this I am also feeling nauseous over the food. I am hoping my children don’t get sick or get food poising from whatever they put in our food.

Jala needs to be respectful to the customers and if she wants to talk bad about the customers maybe she shouldn’t do it 1 table away from the customers.

If I could rate the food I would rate it a zero. Customer service was a zero. The restaurants...

It was the worst place and will not go back. The fries were cold and uncooked and the waitress was trouble. The wait time was unexpected. I would not recommend this to anyone. I live so close and I will not go back. I hope you get better manager and better server that care about the customer. There was only one waitress that work her butt off and her name was Megan and wish we had her. I order something the was a special and the waitress had to go and check if they had it and it too long to find out if they had it and why offer thing you don't have. Other people were upset with and waitress. We were trying to have a good night out but it way the worse night out. We will have try other places to have a good night out. You need more bartenders on the weekends because it sports times and more servers.We go to Ohio and they have better bartenders and the bartenders help out with tables went they are not busy. I love Ohio applebee's. They are very friendly and they go over board to keep they customers happy even when it sports season. I am not driving five hour to go to a good applebees. I upstand when restaurant close because of bad serve. I hate to see that happen. There is no reason for for table to empty when the waitress does not want to do her job. There were a lot of tables that could have been filled. It took one hour to get a table that could have been seated earlier if you had a good host and good waitress. Ohio' has wheelschairs accessibility but crestwood doesn't. My husband and I have medical problems and we had to use staire. They tell us that they had a ramp. My husband is on a cane and I have a knee brace and we have a hard time with stairs and high tables. All the door were locked and the customer had to let us in while they wait and went we told yhe manager she opened only one Door and people had to open the other door for customer or tell them to us the other door. This happens in crestwood , Illinois . The door that should have been open lock was the one by the driveway. I hope other people don't have to have an experience that we did. I wish more people would speak up. Maybe something will happen then. You want feed back you got it. Don't think we will be back for awhile. Unless thing change. Had to try Applebee's out as a ride along for a double date. I ordered a drink and that took an hour. Our server was focused on taking care of her friends when she came to greet our table after sitting for about 30 mins without any service. She was like "welcome to appl..... Hey Sit them over there, they are with me". Lol sad. The hostess with the mostest kept telling everyone that it was a 45 min wait because they only had 2 servers for the restaurant and that more were coming in in 45 mins (never saw any other servers come in). So we finally ordered our food and drinks and apps. Apps took about 45 mins to come out. They brought out the other couples food and gave it to the servers friend table by accident who ate our appetizer in about 3.2 sec. Then they figured it out and brought the remnants to our table (they had 2 burgers that the other table didn't touch so it was whatever). They replaced the missing app which was cool. My food took a good hour+ to come out and it was after everyone else had their food and was eating. Sad (simple chicken and pasta dish). I know the service was terribly slow because the movie rampage was on and we saw it play through twice lol. If it wasn't for my friend, we would've just left but we made the best of it. I had my leftovers a couple days later and the feelings of eating there came right back. If you can't afford exlax just eat leftover Applebee's.....

Oh and the guy bringing the water dropped a bunch of it on my friend's will wool coat. SMH

Couple recommendations to Applebee's

Either staff up or train your staff on how to focus on speed and accuracy Maybe let us order from a tablet at the table if you can't find wait staff Learn how to bring things in order. Drinks, apps, dinner for everyone at the table

Recommendation to customers Stop going here until they actually do something to improve. They always have seemed to be terrible and this recent visit confirmed it. Chili's is getting better, why can't this place. Talk with your money.

Be friends with the servers, they will treat you better and push you ahead of other customers

Bring some popcorn so you can watch the same movie a couple times while your service moves at snails pace with a dash of attitude.

Applebee's - when you're here, you're ugh ugh I guess family. Enjoy your meal...
