The 5 star reviews that you see here are for the Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburger chain. This actual franchise location, however, is a disaster. First and foremost, the audio system at the drive-up window is absolutely unintelligible. The system does not filter the background noise inside the restaurant, which means that every time I pull up I am greeted by the sound of 1,000,000 souls being sucked back down to hell in a horror movie. Because of this technological disaster, communication with the person taking your order inside is absolutely impossible. This is a huge problem because when, not if, something is wrong with your order it is impossible to remedy the issue because you won't be able to hear the person inside and as far as I can tell they can't hear you either. Eventually, I just give up and take whatever the hell comes in the mystery bag that they hand me at the window. I will give you an example: This evening (2/17/2019) I went and ordered a kid's cheeseburger and a #1 with regular fries and an unsweet tea. I requested that the burger come with no pickles. After bringing it home the burger had nothing on it except for pickles, no mustard. No lettuce. No nothing. Meat and pickles. This was unusual because my order actually appeared correct on the screen (which is hard to do with the Alexander Graham Bell prototype audio equipment they are running outside), but they still managed to screw it up. So between the fact that they can't hear what you are saying and their incompetence, your order is going to be wrong. I hope that the owner of this franchise sees this and can take care of the problem and train their employees to talk intelligibly when taking orders. This isn't hard to do, because every other fast food restaurant in the...
Read moreThis place is great! Just don’t get it delivered… because for some reason standards & consistency go out the window. I used to be a manager at In-N-Out, so Freddy’s felt like a safe-haven, a surefire stop for quality… but it’s just not at this location anymore. Management needs to tighten up ship! Always a gamble, if there will be pickles or not, if cheese will be centered on the patty or askew, wedge sized down to slivers of tomato always with some core, a bit of yellow in the ever varying amounts of lettuce, and this time even the meat had issues! Stone cold, completely under-seasoned, even the tots, which had obviously been fried either more than once, or in older oil, due to the coloring & taste. And the out dated, freezer-burned custard again?? C’mon guys it’s LITERALLY labeled! FAFO is beginner food safety & if you’re prepping too much in advance then cut back! (This time it didn’t even have a safety/sticker seal on it. 🥲) Uber Eats customer service has rectified every issue, every time, but idk if they pass along any of that feedback & frankly they shouldn’t have to fix it for y’all every single time! Normally there’s only one little problem but this time it was ALL of them… And somehow none of these things are issues, in person, so I suspect too much pressure & not enough care is going into these mobile orders! I’ve been ordering from here less & less the past 1.5yrs and I’m tired of this cycle of disappointment & food waste that I feel stuck in when I order… so I won’t be anymore. The only maybe consistent thing have been the portions & that has become entirely moot to me. I might’ve sounded angry, but I promise it’s just passion & care. I know y’all can do better than this! Goodbye &...
Read moreGood food, good atmosphere, only problem is I've been there 8 times and ordered the Philly cheese steak with green peppers and onions. They ask you if you want them and my answer is always "Yes!" to both. I have to take my sandwhich back to them and the cook always acts like its my fault. I hate when they take my sandwhich back and go behind the corner. I dont eat those because I found a few bristles of a brush in one. They use to just apologize and bring a spatula with both mixed on it, put it on my sandwhich and that was that. There was no manager so I couldnt complain to a kid running the register. Custard is extremely good. Drink station/condiment counter is on the customer side of the employee counter so you don't have to ask for refill or ketchup etc. I have the feeling the people that frequent the place and some of those behind the counter are slightly if not outright racist. Mostly due to the way they acted when a black couple came in with kids. The atmosphere changed until they left. This is probably my...
