Our family of 4 recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Bean Restaurant (94 Ma May), it is within the La Siesta hotel. Over the course of two nights, we were delighted by the delectable blend of Vietnamese and Western cuisine, the inviting atmosphere, and the impeccable service provided by Mr. Auh Vu.

There were ample choices for both Vietnamese and Western dishes, ensuring that every member of our family could find something to savor. The flavors were outstanding, showcasing the authentic essence of Vietnamese cuisine alongside well-executed Western favorites.

Read moreExpected just a normal dinner with typical fancy food but our experience went beyond expectation.
The food was really good with one of the best pho and grilled pork. It is no lack or I would say even better than most pho from local or street food restaurants which people would typically expect to be better.
We had a really good ambience while eating as well.
However, the highlight of the experience making our dinner way better were the staff members’ warm hospitality. Especially commending our server “Mr Dac Nguyen” : really happy, cheerful and helpful guy who patiently explained to us how to eat the food, guided us on what the food is and creating interesting conversations throughout the night. He had superb English as well making it easy to carry on conversations. The bar tender Mr Tuan Bui is well versed with wine. Special mentioned of reception staff Ms Che Li, she speak good English and attend to our needs with great care.
Other than that, when we briefly mentioned of my sons recent graduation, they managed to put together a mini celebration for him immediately after we finished the course of our meal with a small cake and staff members came to celebrate with us making it...

Red Bean Restaurant – Breakfast in Hanoi
Stopped by Red Bean and it was a great way to start the day. The place has a calm, welcoming vibe—perfect if you're looking to escape the busy streets of Hanoi for a bit.
They offer both Vietnamese and Western breakfast options, so there’s something for everyone. I went with the pho bo (beef noodle soup) and it was rich, flavorful, and super comforting. Also tried their fresh fruit and a Vietnamese iced coffee—strong and delicious.
The service was fantastic. Staff were attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out quickly. It’s a more upscale spot, so prices are higher than a street-side café, but the quality and setting make it worth it.
If you're looking for a relaxing, tasty breakfast in a nice setting, Red Bean is a solid...
