Exceptional Sushi and Impeccable Service at Sachiko Sushi with a View of the City

Sachiko Sushi is an absolute gem of a restaurant, delivering an unparalleled sushi experience that has left me craving more. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of culinary excellence that permeated every aspect of my dining experience.

What truly sets Sachiko apart is its stunning location, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of the city skyline. As I savored each bite of their expertly crafted sushi, I was treated to a panoramic vista of the bustling urban landscape, adding an extra layer of ambiance and enchantment to the overall experience.

The menu is a true showcase of sushi mastery, with an impressive selection of the freshest seafood expertly prepared. The salmon, tuna, and octopus sashimi were all impeccably fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a depth of flavor that left me in awe. But the real showstopper was the herring roe - a delicate and flavor-packed delicacy that I've seldom encountered at other sushi establishments.

The sashimi sets, in particular, are an absolute must-try. The combination of pristine fish, artful presentation, and balanced flavors is simply divine. I found myself savoring every bite, transported to a world of pure sushi bliss.

What truly sets Sachiko Sushi apart, though, is the level of service provided by the exceptional staff. From the knowledgeable sushi chefs to the attentive wait staff, every member of the team exuded a genuine passion for their craft. They were more than happy to offer recommendations, answer questions, and ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

And the icing on the cake? A complimentary and delightful dessert at the end of the meal, a thoughtful gesture that truly encapsulates the restaurant's commitment to providing a complete and satisfying dining experience.

The drinks menu at Sachiko is also noteworthy, with a carefully curated selection of sake, wine, and cocktails that pair beautifully with the sushi offerings.

In terms of value, Sachiko Sushi is truly a gem. The prices are more than fair, considering the impeccable quality of the ingredients, the extraordinary level of service, and the stunning city views.

If you're a sushi aficionado or simply seeking a truly memorable dining experience, I cannot recommend Sachiko Sushi highly enough. This is a restaurant that has mastered the art of sushi, and it's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life. Do yourself a favor and indulge in the exceptional sashimi sets, impeccable service, and breathtaking city views - you won't be...

Honestly no idea how this place has such a high rating. I walked in to have dinner (solo) and asked to sit on the balcony. They told me it was full… which it wasn’t… there was one seat open, for one. Then when I went to sit out there no one ever came to me with a menu or asked me what I wanted, even though she came out to check on the other group currently dining. So after 10 minutes, I figured if I wanted to be served adequately, I better go inside. I go inside and sit at the 4 top table that was offered to me and then was asked to move, to a different two person table, since I couldn’t take up a big table… even though that’s where she told me to sit initially. Still given no menu or asked what I would like and we are 20 minutes in at this point. After looking at the menu and sitting there looking around they finally came and took my order. I don’t know what is going on here but the service is non existent. They prefer to set and clean empty tables instead of actually waiting on the guests who are dining. My food was mediocre at best and not a single time did anyone check on me or ask if I needed anything, including my bill, which I went and asked for myself and was told to go sit down. The girl working brought over a desert “on the house” while I was trying to pay and leave. Not once did they even ask if I wanted desert, which I would have gladly had during the 30 minutes I sat there on my phone after...

Went for dinner, place was basically empty and the welcoming by the staff was good. They have an extensive menu and you have a lot of options to choose from (not necessarily a good thing). We ordered different things from salmon nigiris (less fatty and more fatty ones) to gyoza, a couple of rolls, otoro nigiris and the shrimp tempura. Overall food quality was very poor, salmon nigiris were alright but rice was overcooked and in too much quantity. The tempura was not light and tasted like it was fried with old oil. The rolls were ok (I appreciate that the tempura shrimp in the roll was still warm but again a bad oil taste). Gyoza were alright although you tasted more the spring onions than the meat inside and eventually the otoro nigiris, the tuna colour was grey-ish (as the tuna got oxidated a bit) therefore not the freshest right?! I tried anyway and it wasn't tasting like tuna already, it was going off and while still edible the taste started to change. After leaving the second nigiri of the portion there I commented to the waiter the issue and he apologised. The bill came and the otoro nigiris were still there, so I had to comment on the fact and I felt I shouldn't have paid for that dish. Eventually after some arguing with his managers they took it off the bill and apologised again. Let's just say not their best night and possibly some feedback they could...

I want to share my experience about this restaurant. i am korean. I am traveling with my son because of some reason. It was very warm when evening we have to eat something. When we were walking down street , 3 girl show us , sushi pictures and ask us eat their rest. So we got into their place to eat sushi. But when we sat table they said they can only serve ramen or noodle. Hmm we disappointed but we ordered one noodle and one udong. During when we were waiting , one korean couple also got into. It was very tricky that rest. Because I knew they cannot serve sushi but they show to people sushi picture. I knew koreans just try to be nice to workers and they do not leave. But what i was anger to WORKERS was they did not look like sorry to us. Their attitude was very cynical to us whom i am idiot to them. And our food was not prepared even we were waiting 25 min. However nobody say sorry to us. After 27min. Finally we got our food and udong was so so, and taste of noodle was like i fell down on the sea and drink a lot of sea water. I told them nothing and paid all. Just want share my exact experience and want to tell koreans ,please do not be hogu. I am a person who visiting viet. Many time. Just let's avoid bad restaurants.

Good view off the balcony, service is good and the price is about right too. The stairs are dead steep on the way up so don't bother with prams or wheelchairs. Ramen's the best dish here, appetisers are ok but nothing to write home about.

I visited Sachiko, a Japanese restaurant in Hanoi, hoping for an authentic dining experience. At first glance, the English menu displayed outside the restaurant seemed promising, as it included vegetarian options. However, once seated, I was presented with a completely different menu that had no vegetarian dishes listed, which was quite disappointing. I tried requesting some alterations to their dishes, such as preparing meals without sauce or meat, but all my requests were declined outright. The staff showed no flexibility in accommodating dietary preferences, which was frustrating. Left with limited choices and a growling stomach, I reluctantly ordered a fried tofu dish and a lemonade. The lemonade turned out to be the only saving grace of the meal—it was refreshing and well-prepared. However, the tofu dish was an absolute letdown. It had an unpleasant taste and a noticeable stink, making it nearly inedible. I struggled to finish even a small portion of it. Overall, Sachiko failed to deliver on both food quality and customer experience. The rigid approach to customization and lack of vegetarian-friendly options make it a place I cannot recommend, especially for vegetarians or those with dietary restrictions. Definitely a spot to avoid if you’re in Hanoi.
