K Coffee — Restaurant in Hội An

This is such a local gem! The Vietnamese Black Coffee was amazing. Thick and strong, perfect to snap you awake.

We also their bread and omelette bfast, which was basically a DIY kind of banh mi haha. It was also great especially if you pour soy sauce on the eggs.

The people here are also very nice. A bunch of locals are hanging out, along with their dogs and sometimes chickens too. And it’s right by the least busy part of the river so that’s such a nice spot to start...

Wife and I spent a fair amount time in the town, and found ourselves coming back here literally every morning for multiple iced coffees each. The staff was beyond friendly, and while we were clearly foreigners, they made us feel completely at home and welcomed us each morning. Cool coffee place overlooking the river, chickens outside, no tourists.

We had 2 coconut coffees - delicious. 30 VND each. The day we were there there were only locals there (half of them the owner's family) all playing cards. 2 visits from lottery ticket sellers.

We didn't see any food for sale, but a bloke on a scooter drove up to the window with a cabinet of cakes on the back!

Nice place if you want a break from the touristy...
