It was a mistake to explore Hoi An during the peak of the heat. However, stumbling upon Little Hanoi Egg Coffee Cafe through Google Maps intrigued me due to the positive reviews I had seen.
We were kindly greeted by the staff and opted to stay on the second floor for more privacy, as there were very few people there. They automatically turned on the air conditioning for us, which I really appreciated since the fact that the cafe was air-conditioned was a big factor in why I decided to go there. The place and the atmosphere were simply amazing, and their attention to detail from the interior to the service was splendid. They offered a lot of complimentary items, which was very lovely.
Even though Hanoi is far away from Hoi An, I was pleased to have tried the famous egg coffee for the first time! I ordered the iced egg coffee, although the hot coffee was more recommended. The coffee was creamy and light yet a perfect balance of coffee. There was a slight hint of egg flavor, but for me, it added more depth to the coffee flavor.
I cannot stress enough that you should visit this cafe, and I even left a note there for my future self, as I have definitely decided to visit there again. If you or anyone reading this is out there, take the time to visit the cafe and find the note that I left in one...

We stumbled upon Little Hanoi Coffee on a rainy day, and it turned out to be the perfect refuge. As we arrived, one of the staff members kindly met us at the front door, helping us with our wet raincoats and helmets—a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the entire visit.
The atmosphere inside was lively yet peaceful, with soft, relaxing music that made us feel instantly at home. The team was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well looked after.
And then there was the egg coffee—hands down the most amazing I’ve ever had! Rich, velvety, and full of flavor, it was a real treat that warmed us from the inside out.

They welcomed us with a lovely refreshing glass of cinnamon tea, kindly appreciated. We ordered egg coffee, Vietnamese coffee, tuna sandwich and mango with yoghurt. It was all amazing, the egg coffee was the best I’ve had by far, if you want to try it or love it already, you have to come here! The Vietnamese coffee was also excellent. The tuna sandwich was delicious and hearty, and came with a complimentary fruit pot. The mango yoghurt was so sweet and flavourful. All in all, amazing food and drinks! Nhien was such a lovely waitress, so kind and welcoming. There’s a nice view of the street, and upstairs is cosy and quiet. A perfect escape from the busy streets, with such a calm, lovely vibe.
