Hoi An Burgers Plus — Restaurant in Hội An

Hey, let's be honest here!

When you know Hoi Anh well and have been conned over and over again in this expensive, cheap-quality, high-hype town or have eaten so much noodle junk that you wanna strangle your boyfriend for bringing you here then Burger Plus is a true oasis.

That said for $7 you can stuff your face with a burger, fries and beverage combo without noticing the unremarkable quality and taste of what your putting into your tummy. It's respite from the mystery munch on the tourist circuit so if you write a review right after you burp you'll give Burger Plus a 5 but if you go back again and again you'll say "five stars for freindly service, clean surroundings and an escape from food you can't spell and three stars for reasonable and fresh burger and supermarket fries.

Other option is to do the add-ons and step out of the combo world and into a slightly higher eating experience.

...I did eat vegan AGAIN for dinner later, because I loved sharing some stir fried, fresh-from-the-farm, green beans with garlic & red chili with the love of my life 🌶

JW is AWOL for the next few days, so we steal a lunch date on this beautiful Saturday ♥️

What we had:

Stacey: fish & chips (fries to my North American peeps 🤣)

Sky: double bacon cheeseburger with fries & we shared a POTATO BOMB, which is basically mashed potatoes, cheese & bacon, fried to a crispy greatness! Holy sh..!

Look at my “American Style” burger - 30 years of trying burgers ‘round this world, America still makes the best. But...

I do not know where all the bad comments are based on. The portions (burger and fries) I had were both very good of quantity and taste. Prices (at least the drinks) are lower than in other restaurants and even supermarkets.

Okay it is a small place similar to a carport and just a single wall, so don't expect AC. Service was in stages and can be considered as slow in peakhours, probably due to a single fryer. Maybe the place its too small to handle all the TripAdvisor junkies who want to follow up every good review.
