Maison Lucien — Restaurant in Hội An

I had a wonderful evening celebrating my friend Peter’s 73rd birthday. Happy Birthday, Peter!

Maison Lucien may be new to the scene, but the chef brings years of experience to the table. Every dish was crafted with pride and absolutely delicious.

The menu isn’t extensive, but it offers something for everyone. From what I observed, there is just one chef who also owns the place, which adds a personal touch to the dining experience.

Service was excellent friendly, polite, and attentive. The waiter’s professionalism and warmth stood out, something that’s often rare in many restaurants.

The ambiance perfectly matched a French restaurant set in a Vietnamese city. Most seating is in a charming courtyard with plenty of fans to keep guests comfortable. The background music complemented the setting beautifully, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.

Everything was thoughtfully presented, making the night truly enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to my next...

The place itself is very nice and quiet, especially in the evening. It is very suitable for friends to have a meal together or for a romantic dinner in the evening !

Food was very tasty and all the plates were nicely decorated. The set-menu at 350k VND was definitely a great price for what we have ! Wine selection is also well thought and interesting to match the dishes.

The owner is very friendly and passionated about the French Cuisine (as a legacy from his grandfather) and Vietnam by sourcing a lot of local ingredients.

Just back from a lovely lunch here with the wife. Our first visit, so we ordered from the lunch set menu. Camembert croquette and steak frites for me, fish terrine and duck confit parmentier for her. All 4 dishes correctly prepared and delicious - nothing we wouldn't happily order again. Glass of sauvignon blanc for her, cabernet for me - a pleasant surprise that each wine was served at its correct temp, and a very fair pour at that. This is a stylish, grownup little joint that's doing everything well. We wish them success and look forward to our next visit....
