My experience at this establishment were very good. I started with a lovely hot coffee and a chocolate chip cookie! Yum, went down a treat. Then had the full English breakfast, this came with 2 generous slices of hot sourdough bread and butter. HP Sauce is a must for English breakfast and yes they have lots. The breakfast was very nice indeed and well worth the trip in the torrential rain! Staff are nice and friendly too, always nice to see a smiling face. Will visit daily now untill I leave Hoi An. UPDATE: 19 Nov 2024. Whilst on my second visit to Hoi An I just had to visit Thom's Sourdough Bakery again, I had the full English breakfast and a hot latte, I was not disapointed, the breakfast has changed a little, but for the better, It was an addition of a side salad and a hot saute of mushroom and spinach thar really lifted the whole breakfast, a great meal and at 205,000VND was good value. I will be sure to vist Thom's when ever I am in Hoi An. Fast wifi too!
Update: After visiting this evening too, I had a lovely sausage roll and the most amazing ham and cheese croissant, best ever the cheese was a thick slice of cheddar and the ham was genuine leg ham freshly sliced...
Read moreIf you’re in Hoi An and love good bread, this café is an absolute must. It’s a cozy, beautifully designed spot with a relaxed atmosphere – but what truly sets it apart is the bread. It has the perfect crust – crisp and golden – and the inside is soft, airy, and slightly tangy in that perfect sourdough way that only comes from careful fermentation and a real passion for baking.
They serve it in thoughtfully made sandwiches or simply with homemade butter and jam – either way, it’s pure joy in every bite. The coffee is excellent, and the staff are warm, attentive, and clearly care about every detail, from the flavor to the ambiance.
This place isn’t just a café – it’s an experience....
Read moreBaffled by the high score this place has.. I am not usually in the habit of leaving one star reviews but I feel like I have no choice here, I ordered a salted coffee which i had had several times before coming here and really enjoyed but it was unbearably salty. Not only that but ordered it hot and it arrived room temperature in a glass with a paper straw, I took one sip and had to spit it out immediately, it tasted like they'd dumped a heaped tablespoon of salt into it. I returned the coffee and said I couldn't drink it. After I returned it he made another identical one (this time hot at least) and it was the same so I just left. The chicken pesto sandwich was pretty poor as well, dry rubbery chicken. Would...
