I recently had the pleasure of visiting REN RUA CAFE that truly felt like a hidden gem. From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the incredible atmosphere. The space itself is beautifully designed, with a perfect blend of cozy, rustic charm and modern, clean aesthetics. The lighting is soft and the seating arrangements comfortable spots for catching up with friends.

The coffee and drinks are equally impressive. I ordered a matcha latte, and it was clear that every detail was taken seriously—this drink was so good, it was beyond my imagination, with a perfectly balanced flavor. The menu offers a wide variety of options from classic coffees and fresh juices to delicious plant-based milks and unique specialty drinks with names that pay homage to regional flavors. Plus, the prices are very reasonable."

The staff is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They made great recommendations and clearly took pride in their work. We visited Ren Rùa Café several times during our stay in Hoi An, and each visit was absolutely exceptional. The setting is peaceful and beautifully designed, creating a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a drink or catching up with friends.

The drink menu is both extensive and creative, and every beverage we tried was flawless. Highlights included the rich and indulgent Salted Chocolate, the refreshing Little Hoi An and Hoi An Sunrise, and the creamy, flavorful Iced Egg Coffee—all masterfully made and beautifully presented.

There’s truly something to suit every taste, from bold coffee drinks to refreshing herbal and fruit-based options. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly took pride in their work.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem by accident. It’s located in a small alleyway very close to where madam khan bahn mi is. The cafe has a modern Vietnamese interior with an amazing music playlist. Peaceful surrounding perfect for a quiet coffee time. Had their egg coffee which was really delicious, even their complimentary water infused with jasmine tea, ginger and pandan was refreshingly good. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Asked if she had an iPhone charger and she immediately lent me hers! She’s so nice she gave me some complimentary fruits (from her grandma’s fruit farm). Understand from her that she started this cafe with her sister as it’s their dream to run a cafe together! The eggs they use for their egg coffee are from their grandma’s farm too.
