Mì Quảng 92 - Mì quảng cá lóc, bò, mì tôm thịt — Restaurant in Hội An

During my short stay in Hoi An, I managed to try three out of four Mì Quảng dishes served at this restaurant. Fish, Pork with Shrimp, and Beef Noodles at 40k a bowl. I was obsessed with the flavoursome bowls of noodles they served here.

Both the Fish Noodle and Pork with Shrimp Noodle were served with quail eggs. The Beef Noodle was served with a regular boiled egg.

The broth for all these dishes were so spectacular, the crushed peanuts and crispy sesame rice crackers added amazing texture, and the fresh herbs on the side were refreshing when added to the bowl. Proteins were cooked well, the beef was especially tender. Don’t forget to have the chilli sauce! They were homemade and took the Mì Quảng to another level.

Luckily for us we discovered this amazing place as soon as we arrived in Hoi An. A true treasure!! Their cuisine is so good and their dishes are always freshly prepared. My husband and I have been having lunch here almost every day for a month. We have tried all the different versions of Mì Quang (beef, fish, pork, shrimp and vegetables) and they are all absolutely phenomenal. Even their fresh fruit juices are so delicious! It is a truly special place that makes the experience of this town even more extraordinary. The atmosphere is so warm as the owner and her family always welcome everyone with a smile. Note that this is only open in the mornings, from 7am! Absolutely enjoyed my fish miquang for breakfast today. Ooh the squeezed lime on it and the fresh salad, mm! I love that you get a choice of 2 sizes - it’s nice to leave full but not having overeaten. I’ve also had the beef miquang - that was fine. I’m told that the vegetarian (chay) mi quang is only available on the 4 days of every lunar month. You’d have to ask a Vietnamese to help you read their lunar calendar for those days - they change every month. I also love having freshLy squeezed orange juice to finish off the breakfast meal.
