Just a few streets back from the riverside, Treat Restaurant and Cafe was a great find. We both ordered the local Hoi A specialty Cao Lau along with a mango, banana, and honey milkshake — and both presented and tasted well. The noodles had that perfect chewy texture, and the dish was packed with flavor. The smoothie was creamy, not too sweet, and beautifully refreshing in the heat.
The restaurant offers two levels of seating — we chose the upstairs balcony with a charming view over the lantern-lit street below. It made for a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy our meal. Read morePeople please take care with this restaurant if you go there. I have asked for the stake with "salad" and fried potatoes witch was twice the average price of the dishes on the menu but I thought it was ok because they were offering 280 gr stake. But I've got after waiting a long time a plate with good potatoes, a "salad" made with lettuce and onion and a stake that looked like 120 gr with blood on it. So I kindly asked to please cook it a bit longer and I've got back one plate with lettuce and potatoes soaking in blood and a better cook stake laying on blood. The chef of this place should not be cooking for customers. Not even prisoners deserve to be treated as rabish as they did with me. This restaurant is on my top 3 worse...
Read moreA very nice restaurant for an evening meal on the upstairs balcony while watching people go by on the street below. The food here is very good and flavourful. Had the grilled squid in 5 spices, grilled prawns, sauted morning glory, grilled duck and crispy seafood noodles. The service is pretty good....food arrived in around 20 mins. The server was attentive but her english was not that good....but she tried hard and it wasnt a problem at all. Try the iced lotus tea here.....recomended. A good experience altogether but this place is moderately pricey. The food was worth it though. Thwy have ao dai here for rent. Walk to the back of the ground floor to choose from a large variety and enquire...
