Fresh, Funky & Fun Fen’s Like These • A continuation of the trend of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs developing the Japanese restaurant sector in Vietnam now turning their attention to the “Izakaya” occasion. • The concept at FEN - izakaya is fresh, funky, fun and tailored to the Gen Z, Millennial demographic and in keeping with this I’m sharing their menu QR code in the comments rather than waxing lyrical. • A great spot for hanging out with friends & decompressing down in that Ly Tu Trong location which is finally buzzing again and back to pre covid levels. Tldr: good food, quick service, japanese feel, music not my thing. Long: walking along the street came across this place. Ordered a bunch of dishes. tuna taco: excellent. Steak sandwich: excellent. The atmosphere was amazing. They had all these pop culture figurines and all this awesome modern looking Japanese Lights and furniture.

The food however was really spicy and when I asked if it was spicy prior to ordering, they said the spice level was moderate. Also, I found the food to be really expensive for HCMC/Saigon. $70 AUD for the food in the photos.
