A Culinary Journey Through Vietnam's Coffee Culture: Phin Coffee Restaurant Review
Nestled in the heart of Vietnam's vibrant coffee scene, Phin Coffee Restaurant offers a delightful fusion of traditional flavors and modern twists, making it a must-visit destination for coffee enthusiasts and foodies alike.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly the egg coconut coffee, a unique creation that perfectly balances the rich, velvety texture of coconut milk with the subtle sweetness of egg coffee. This indulgent concoction is a true delight for the senses, providing a creamy and satisfying caffeine fix unlike any other. My partner and I both loved this and it's a must try here in Hoi An.
For those craving a nutty twist, the peanut butter iced coffee is a must-try. The creamy peanut butter adds a delightful depth of flavor to the smooth, cold brew coffee, creating a refreshing and indulgent beverage that is sure to please even the most discerning palate. I loved this one.
My partner tried for a taste of tropical paradise, the coconut iced coffee. This is a refreshing choice. Made with freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee and creamy coconut milk, this drink offers a refreshing escape from the heat of the day, transporting diners to the sun-drenched beaches of the Mekong Delta with each sip.
In addition to their innovative coffee creations, Phin Coffee Restaurant also offers a selection of delicious Vietnamese dishes, including the iconic Cao lau. This traditional noodle dish features tender slices of pork, savory broth, and crispy noodles, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that is sure to satisfy. I really enjoyed this and it was hearty and rich in flavour.
My partner took a wholesome breakfast option, with scrambled eggs on avocado toast with wholemeal bread. The creamy avocado paired perfectly with the fluffy scrambled eggs, while the hearty wholemeal bread added a satisfying crunch. It's the perfect start to any day, whether you're a coffee connoisseur or simply in search of a delicious and nutritious meal.
In conclusion, Phin Coffee Restaurant offers a culinary journey through Vietnam's rich coffee culture, with a menu that celebrates both tradition and innovation. Whether you're sipping on a decadent egg coconut coffee or savoring a bowl of comforting Cao lau, each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, ensuring a memorable dining experience for...
Read moreI came here for two occasions and found both times quite pleasant.
The first time I came here for lunch with a friend and I ordered the granola bowl with a lemon juice with mint and afterwards an apple pie.
The granola bowl was exactly what I wanted at that time, the fruit taste fresh and the bowl came with plenty of granola. The lemon juice with mint was probably the highlight of the meal since it tasted so fresh and light. The apple pie on the other hand is quite average and nothing too special. It is however special for Asian countries to serve an Apple pie, so if you crave one, this is your place to be.
The second time I ordered the Hoi An Style Cao Lau Bowl, with a coconut coffee and afterwards a pot of green tea.
The Cao Lau bowl was the perfect amount of everything. The egg noodles are fresh and you can definitely taste the difference. The ingredients compliment each other very well and there isn't any ingredient in that bowl overpowering since they truly balance it well. The broth tasted very rich and deep in flavour.
The coconut coffee was quite bitter and dark/burned in flavour. I am not sure if it is the type of bean they use or something else. The coffee would have been elevated with a different taste of bean/coffee for me.
The green tea came in a small pot and was of standard quality.
The service of this place never disappoints and they truly make sure their guests have everything.
The menu also has plenty of vegetarian options for the one that seeks that! You also get free unlimited table water when seated and they make sure it is always refilled when you have finished it.
Overall two very pleasant experiences and would...
Read moreI still give you 4 star but my experience is not dissapontied. Coffee is not brilliant. We are not supprise as there aer some feedbacks about difrerent treats. We came and asked if we can seat at the table we like, there was no reservation board, and the male staff said ok. We knew it is not cleaned and we wouldn’t seat right away, but another female staff came with unpleasant face and angry tone of voice told that the table has been reserved in next 1,5 hours. She emphasied that” I want you to seat over there, the othet table close to the door that we don’t like. We wonderd why we come long way to have a good coffee and we received a service like that. May be we are VIETNAMESE. Where is the smile on staffs’s face? While there are 2 other long tables for her group, why didn’t she use that and let us seat at the table we like. We wouldn’t stay even longer 1 hour. What is the difference of the present customers and the cumstomers in next 1,5hours?
the customers infront of you are the one you have to treat them nicely right away. it’s silly to save thay hospitality to the future one and treat the other unfair.
I won’t never come back and introduce for my family...
