South Bank Piazza — Attraction in Brisbane City

I remember when this piazza was built, and the crane toppled over during construction. Southbank was going to be all the rage, with all the attractions. Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary (where I was working), the butterfly park, the Gondalas that took you on a Journey through the parklands etc. the food stalls, markets, pool. As one of the biggest undercover multipurpose areas in Brisbane it's not an inclusive area because of the no skate signs. I ignored them because where else am I going to set up cones to do freestyle slalom skating? On the M1? There's nowhere else. Now it's locked down and only open during events. Is that my fault?
