A friend of mine booked a table here tonight for dinner. Greeted at the door with a friendly smile from all staff including the security guard! The service here is amazing! I was having trouble with my Apple Pay with their QR scanning system for the menu. However an amazing staff member went out of her way to give me a hand! Special shout out to Maria 🤗. Taco Tuesday are amazing here! Great range of happy hour drinks topped with $2 tacos… oh so deliciousoooo!! Muchos gracious to the chefs and the serving staff. The margaritas are great, just the kick you need.. not watered down for sure! I recommend the lamb and broccoli tacos. The atmosphere here is great, with a beautiful South American feel and vibe to it. You can choose your own music with the jukebox command pad. There’s a COVID Safe policy in place with a check in QR code at the entrance, coupled with hand sanitiser. Thank you, I’ll be back. 👌🏼

Absolutely outstanding. Cannot fault anything here. The chicken adobe fajitas are exceptional. A really good decent serving where everything shines, especially the chicken which was soft, moist and really flavoursome. The tacos are beauties as well. My wife went nuts over them. We loved our complimentary corn chips and dipping sauces to start, one jalapeño and one tomato, and all of that was delicious. We adored our margueritas too. Excellent size and full of flavour. Nice to spot to sit here also. We were outside and it was lovely. The service was terrific throughout, especially from the lovely tall girl who was probably the manager. We can’t fault this place. It’s hands down better than most Mexican places we’ve been too here in Oz and overseas. That and the specials offers make it not only a great food experience but also very affordable. Bravo

Came here for my birthday because I love the restaurant on the coast. And came for happy hour. We got seated and someone came over straight away to take our order we didn’t even get a chance to look at the menu I tried to order a nerd frozen margarita and wings she had no idea what I was talking about until I pointed at it and said that they don’t do wing Wednesday anymore so we just got drinks and asked her to come back to take our order for food. Our drinks came out and they literally look like a gross brown green colour literally diarrhoea. she never came back after we waiting for 20 minutes we saw on the napkins that they do the $5 baskets of wings guac tacos and more. So we were confused why she didn’t offer that. I ended up having to go up to order since no one was coming and there is now no QR codes which is really annoying. I was waiting at the bar no one even looked at me there were three staff members there. The bar tender was literally making herself a margarita and drinking it. ??? Are you serious. This was at 5:56 if you want to check the cameras. Someone finally acknowledges that I’m there and tells me you can’t do the offer only if you book online? Why have that promo on your table if you can’t do it unless you book. Actually so disappointed and most likely won’t be back after this experience. Should bring your QR codes back. Actually ruined my birthday night to be honest.

Starting with a disclaimer that the restaurant ultimately gave a full refund. Food - was awful, actual awful. There was so much water on the lettuce and fat from the meat in the tacos that liquid was actually pouring out of our tacos (see video - this was part way through eating the depicted taco so a lot of liquid had already come out) It was so gross, we were using napkins to wipe up the liquid. My mother found a hair in her beef taco, absolutely disgusting. Drinks were not nice (margaritas). Service - was hard to find help. Barely any staff. Staff kept walking away from us as we were explaining the issues and not saying what was happening. When we asked for a refund finally, the person sent to help us walked away after we explained what happened and why we were seeking a refund (the hair was the final straw) and she walked away without saying anything. We ended up having to track her down to get our refund . Plates were dirty, floaties in the water. You get the picture. Honestly would not go back if my first born was being held hostage, and in Liam Neeson style I had to do some crazy stuff to get her back. I can assure you, if that food came out and I was told I had to eat it, I’d say see’ya later kid, nice knowing you.

If I had to some it up in one word it would be "salty". Salty food, salty drink, salty feeling. It was soooo disappointing. Mexican is my favourite cuisine. I never thought I'd dislike a Mexican meal but I can say now that I have had that experience. And I paid a hefty price for it. From the beginning, getting bumped in the queue for guests who were at the back with no explanation was red flag 1. That left me squished at the bar. Don't eat fajitas at a bar. It was awkward with no room and fajitas dropping all over me. It didn't help to see one of the staff spitting on the floor behind the bar as I was about to eat. The margaritas are disgusting I couldn't drink it. They are not made fresh but from a tap, very lemony and salty. They cut corners and overcharge for that privilege 🙄. I would happily pay over $20 if you made the margarita but paying that much for a tap margarita is just disrespectful for the customer who is paying a lot to eat out at your venue. Have some standards or reduce the price. There are much better venues for Mexican in Brisbane.

I recently visited Ritapalooza with my pregnant wife, hoping to enjoy a pleasant evening. However, our experience was far from satisfactory. Despite ordering mocktails for my wife and margaritas with chicken wings for myself, we waited for nearly 40 minutes for her drink. Each time we inquired about the delay, the staff reassured us that it was on its way, but the wait continued. To add insult to injury, my cocktail and wings were served promptly, exacerbating our frustration. Venturing to the bar to inquire about the delay, we were met with rudeness from one of the staff members, who instructed us to retrieve the drink ourselves. This level of service is simply unacceptable. We had paid for our meals and drinks through their QR code system, only to be treated with indifference and disrespect. Ritapalooza's management must address these issues promptly to ensure that future patrons do not endure similar disappointment.
