The most attractive part of this cathedral to me as a non christian is its beautiful sculpture of St. George slaying the dragon called Ascalon . I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates art and sculpture in particular. The sculpture is located on the St. Georges terrace side of the cathedral and is quote a monolith in White and chrome . I suggest a walking all the way around it as the light hits it in so many different ways changing the whole shape of the sculpture. Well worth a look ...even for us non...

It is a projector display that cycles through many scenes.
The Cathedral is just as beautiful at night. Be sure to arrive earlier in the evening with children as the nightlife emerges later. Also the display is turned off later in the evening.
