On Wednesday 31/5 I visited Parramatta Dior Beauty store with my mom to claim the gift from the loyalty program as a Platinum member and got treated poorly by the store manager. She accused me of having fake transactions and refused to give me the gift I was entitled for.( I have invitation email from Dior to collect)
I have been a customer at parramatta dior for a while now ( at least 2 years) and have been shopping more frequently because a friend of mine is a staff. So itâs much more convenient and comfortable for me to be served by my friend. Today after finished my citizenship test I came straight to the store and I decided to go to claim my gift and looking for something to congrats myself, the staff that usually serve me isnât there but I figured itâd be quick a visit so I passed by anyway and served by lady manager. After I showed her the email from Dior, she checked my account and said something wrong with my account and the transaction was fake. She started to ask me if do I remember what I bought and how much I'm actually spent; did I ever spend more than 1000 or something;... I can't remember all what I bought and how much I spent cause it not one purchase only and long time term and no one really remembered all of that. I listed some products that I usually use and purchase and some that I remember and I told her I surely had spend more than 1000 cause last Christmas months one of my bill was over 1000 already. I can make sure that she knows what I listed are match with the transaction in my account. Then she asked me to show her the bank transactions ect; and some very personal questions that I'm not very comfortable to answer. I even have to open my bank account to search for some. Then she said she still need to investigate my case then she call the staff that normally serves me. My mom started to feel tired from standing too long and NO ONE ask if we want to sit down to wait. After the call, she brought me the gift box and said I can have it but she will do further investigation that made me feel like I'm a criminal. Plus, she just gave me the box without any bag or any respect so I refuse to take it.
I feel very offended and disrespected, Dior is meant to be a luxury brand and I surely expected more professional customer service attitude, especially from a manager. I want to be treated as a customer, instead she made me feel like Iâm a criminal, investigating me and asking for personal information without knowing if I agree or she she has any rights to access. Because me and my sister and mom we all use one account under my name, even my boyfriend.and Im sure there is no rule that we can't put our purchase under the same account. I don't know if it that because of how I look and wear today but I got treated so different compared to any time I been there. She interrogated me in front of the store and so many people was staring at me and my mom and that was extremely uncomfortable. She asked why I spend a lot last Christmas, I told her it because that season I bought a lot of gift for my family and my colleagues too.
After that, even she gave me the gift box itself, no bag with a displeased attitude and emphasised that she still need to check my account, I refuse to take it. I don't even have any notice about Dior loyalty program before until received that email. I don't know what happened with the account transactions but I don't think that is the right way to treat a customer. I was so disappointed with Dior beauty service and we just leave. She acted like there no way on earth that I can spend more than 2k or I faked it to get free gift which make me feel despised. Besides that, Dior products is not cheap so it very reasonable to have that much on my loyalty account.
I talked about today with people and friends from different retail from small to luxury and none of them agreed with the way she treated me. As a Dior customer I want the Customer Service Head Office investigate my case and me and my mom request a formal apologies from the Parramatta Dior Beauty store manager and from...
Read moreHope this message reaches not only those in need but also the management team of Dior Group in Australia. I am a member of Dior Beauty in both Hong Kong and Australia. I live in Melbourne, but most of my purchases are made in Sydney for a simple reason, The service!!
Although I have never met Debbie in person, I got to know her through social media. When I had a couple of questions, she seriously helped and answered them. Several months later, I made additional purchases and she consistently provided excellent assistance. Debbie's attentiveness, dedication, and responsibility deserve high praise.
As an international brand, I hope the Australian management can train more high-quality employees. There is a reason I don't visit other stores even though I am in Melbourne. Besides the excellent service, it also includes being generous to customers. Donât be stingy with samples, as most customers wonât spend hundreds of dollars on something they...
