Outstanding Product and Exceptional In-Store Service at Myer
I had an absolutely wonderful shopping experience at Myer recently when I purchased givenchy foundation Set from the homewares department. While the product itself is of excellent quality, what truly made my visit memorable was the outstanding customer service I received from one of the sales assistants ā I believe her name was barsha
About the Product: the foundation was genuinely good one , , and functional ā everything I hoped it would be. The product is classic and sophisticated, perfect for everyday use or formal user . The foundation has a smooth, high-quality finish and feels both lightweight and strong. Iāve used it multiple times now, and it's held up beautifully in th face tone. An absolute must-have for any faces
About the Sales Assistant (Salesgirl): Barsha Barsha was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked into the store, she greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and a willingness to help without being pushy or overbearing. I had a few questions about the different makeup brands , and she patiently walked me through the pros and cons of each, offering thoughtful recommendations based on my needs.
What really stood out to me was her product knowledge ā she clearly understood the materials, care instructions, and long-term durability of each brand. She also took the time to help me find matching founds and even suggested other complementary items I hadnāt thought of. Her friendly, professional attitude made the entire shopping experience so much more enjoyable.
Even when the store was busy, she remained calm, attentive, and made me feel like a valued customer. Itās rare to find staff these days who truly love what they do and are genuinely interested in helping customers ā Emily is one of those rare gems. She turned a regular purchase into a five-star experience.
Checkout and Packaging: She ensured my items were carefully packaged and even offered to arrange gift wrapping, which was a lovely touch. I left the store feeling confident and satisfied with my purchase, thanks to her excellent assistance.
Final Thoughts: Great products will always bring customers back, but itās the service that builds loyalty ā and Myer has definitely gained mine. The combination of premium product selection and staff like Emily creates a top-tier retail experience. I highly recommend Myer not only for its fantastic homewares but also for its truly outstanding customer service.
Thank you again to the lovely sales assistant who helped me ā you made my day! Iāll definitely be returning soon, and I hope your kindness and dedication are recognised. Thank you so much Brasha for today your lovely services to us. We admire your service a lot . And your down to Hummel and we genuinely loved...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt usually leave reviews for specific staff members anywhere, but after witnessing some disgusting behaviour today I feel the need to.
āSabaā from the Menās Footwear department goes above and beyond his duties. I asked him to assist me with finding a pair of shoes my size. He told me he only looked after a specific brand there (which is the case for some brands within department stores) but nonetheless still went to the back to find the shoes for me. After he brought out the shoes, a middle aged lady came up to him and aggressively asked him for his name, which he calmly gave. The woman responded she saw him ignore her and others earlier saying he didnāt look after other brands but yet assisted me. She told him she was going to make a complaint about him.
I understand her frustration and confusion, but there is no hard rule concessions staff must assist customers who arenāt purchasing their brand. It looked like Saba only helped me because I happened to catch him when he was free. Either way, abusing retail staff is uncalled for. Until today, I have only seen cases like this on social media - never thought Iād witness it in real. People like this lady are the reason stores need to put up signs reminding customers to be nice. Customers may have the money to spend, but it doesnāt ever entitle us to talk down to the staff. The customer isnāt always right. Staff are also human, not subservient to customers. I hope her children can do better than her and they themselves donāt end up being treated the same way when they get their first job.
Thank you Saba for your help today. Really happy with my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Myer Parramatta today to pick up a click and collect and wanted to do some shopping for makeup and fragrances while I was there. I was excited because I hadn't been in a long time and my local Myer had closed a while back. The click and collect staff were lovely, and so were others when I asked for directions to the makeup and fragrance department. But once I got to that department, customer service went out the window. There were staff everywhere but no one offering to help when I was looking for shades at counters. Then when I went and got things I knew I wanted myself, and continued to browse, suddenly every staff member was saying 'can I help you,' not striking up a conversation, not giving me space to shop, just one after another until a man did it 20 seconds after the last and followed up with 'you can put those on the counter' and it didn't sound like a question. I was openly carrying a lipstick and a concealer, had a closed bag, no pockets, and wasn't being shady. I said 'if that will make you comfortable' and he just walked off. I work in retail, so I get that you have to be careful of shoplifting, but there is a line that you need to walk that actually lets customers enjoy their experience. Strike up a convo, pay attention to if others have already greeted the customer, and also pay attention to when they're actually looking round for help at an empty counter. I got social anxiety, didn't pick anything else, paid for what i had already picked out and went to Mecca instead, where they were lovely. Honestly just not worth going to Myer if that's how...
