My family had an amazing experience but I can definitely understand why some didn't... so take this review with a grain of salt.
We went today (March break) so while there were a consistent amount of people, I wouldn't say it was busy by any means.. As such, when we reached the end, our kids (as did other kids) went back to rooms they enjoyed and played over and over again. Instead of going through it in just 10 mins, we were there for probably 30 to 40 (we respected anyone already in that room; we let people going through first; when new people came in, the kids let other kids play first). So our experience wasn't the norm. If I spent $40+ for that and went through it as fast as you could go through it, I'd be upset too, so I can understand the low ratings.
I will say that our first time through, I was surprised with how much fun it all was. Looking at other people's pictures, I think they changed some rooms up but for the most part, they're very interactive. My kids loved it so much and didn't want to leave. But as other have said, it's not that many rooms and on a busy summer day, I'm sure it can get packed and the games aren't as accessible.
My recommendation if you're willing to spend just a few dollars more than the price of admittance: Buy the multipass! They have a bundle where you can pick from 3 different attractions (there's also 5, 6 and 7. The more you bundle, the more you save). For the cost of admitting all 4 of us to this one attraction, we now get to do 2 others.
Take your time in the rooms. My daughter loved everything so much she just wanted to see more and more but there isn't that much so just wait for the people ahead of you to finish the game and then enjoy it.
If they still have the room with the game on the floor, there are many different types of games. One is a soccer game, one is a hockey game, one is a trivia type game where you jump on the answer. I don't know how to switch it lol but every time we went back to it, people were playing something new.
There's a room that moves slightly and is on an angle, like you're being rocked in a ship through big waves. If your kids are prone to motion sickness or are little, don't let them run ahead too far. They put mats along the wall but still...
Once you reach the room with the under the sea theme and steel drum music, it's the end. So if it's not too busy, go back and enjoy some rooms again. To exit you go through a door and then a revolving exit gate so once you're out, you're out!
Great for kids and adults, we enjoyed...
Read moreThis place stunk. Thank God it only took 5 minutes and cost 1$ during local dollar days. You literally walk through 4 rooms and that's it. One room has 2 giant balls in it (not sure what you're supposed to do), one room is slanted with a table and chairs bolted to the floor. One room has this padded hole with rope over it where these loitering teenagers were all hanging out. My favourite part though had to be the doorway with rubber bands hangin in the way that you have to walk through. This must be where they get the name 'fun' house from. If not that then it has to be the random workers telling us to 'have fun' every time we entered a new room. All I know is that my 2 year old looked up at me when we finished the thing with this look in his face that said 'never take me through there...
Read moreAll I can say is, what an incredible and amazing staff this place has; this includes the young lady and young man in gift shop. My son fell and unfortunately got cut on the back of his head. The staff of the gift shop and fun house went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us! They were so very kind, helpful and accommodating! I never caught the managers name, but she was wonderful; I can’t thank you enough with your first aid help. I did however catch Luc’s name. From the bottom of my heart thank you! You were so amazing and truly restore my faith in humanity. The employees of this franchise are top-notch and are just all around great humans! A big thanks to you all!
Side note: the kids loved the fun house so much so, they went twice! I enjoyed it myself! However, the staff...
