Nestled in the heart of the bustling city, K11 Art Mall seamlessly merges art and commerce, creating a unique and captivating experience for visitors. As an avid art enthusiast, I was drawn to explore this innovative concept, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Upon entering the mall, I was greeted by a mesmerizing display of contemporary artworks showcased alongside upscale boutiques and eateries. The integration of art into every corner of the space, from the walls adorned with vibrant murals to the sculptures strategically placed throughout, was truly commendable. It provided a refreshing departure from the typical shopping mall ambiance. The diversity of art forms showcased at K11 Art Mall was striking. From traditional paintings and sculptures to multimedia installations and interactive exhibits, there was something to captivate every artistic palate. One highlight was the rotating exhibitions featuring works from both established and emerging artists, ensuring that each visit offered a new and enriching experience. Beyond its artistic offerings, K11 Art Mall boasts a curated selection of luxury brands and artisanal shops, making it a haven for discerning shoppers. Whether browsing for high-end fashion, unique home décor, or one-of-a-kind souvenirs, there was no shortage of treasures to discover. In addition to its retail and artistic attractions, K11 Art Mall also houses several dining options ranging from casual cafes to fine dining establishments. After a day of exploration, I indulged in a delectable meal at one of the onsite restaurants, savoring both the culinary delights and the ambiance. Overall, my experience at K11 Art Mall was nothing short of exceptional. Its seamless integration of art, commerce, and culture creates a dynamic environment that appeals to both art aficionados and casual visitors alike. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or simply immerse yourself in creativity, K11 Art Mall is a destination not to be missed. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly immersive and enriching retail experience.

K11 opened in 2009 in the heart of the TST district of Hong Kong. It is small art concept mall that blends traditional retail shopping and dining with a bit of artist flare. Here you'll find seven floors and 340K sq. ft. of mall space with a handful of semi permanent installation and art fixtures as well as revolving temporary exhibitions which are changed out 2-3 times a year. Mall shops and restaurants are generally open from from 10am to 10pm daily. Shops here are not the luxury and high-end brand name retail shops that flood the floors of many of Hong Kong's malls. Instead you'll find more mid-range retail, accessories, lifestyle and others with the slightly quirky product lines. Like other malls in this area of TST, K11 is mostly frequented by a slightly younger adult crowd. There has been a steady change of restaurants at K11 since the early days. The Agnes b cafe has managed to stick around. As has the Butcher Club burger joint and the Smile Yoghurt shop on the ground floor in the open air atrium area. There is also a Jason's Marketplace and La Création de Güte bakery that isn't bad. Accessible directly from the underground MTR walkway is the Chi K11 Art Space gallery which usually has some form of an exhibition. Presently there is a Let's Pop art show displaying works by international and local Pop artists and nterestingly featuring an interactive mobile app, allowing the creation of Pop comic like characters that float the mall, which you can see with your mobile phone. It is a good bit of fun, especially for those with kids. Note, last year K11 opened up the significantly larger K11 Musea nearby on the TST Promenade. This is a much more impressive venue with similar blended art-retail concept. It is worth checking out first if you have limited time in TST. Then pass by the original K11 Art Concept Mall if time allows.

Don't go there on a weekend, it's so crowded one needs to queue in order to take the escalator (the building is poorly designed, there is only one set of escalators). When the escalator is under service and repair, the management company posts a notice to shoppers to use other escalator. But the fact is, there is only one set of escalator. The pop up stores crowding in the already narrow corridor make the shopping experience an unpleasant one. The urinals are perpetually under repairs, needless to say there are always long queue outside the female toilets. People have to queue for long time in the narrow corridor outside the toilets. The garbage bins overflow. The sensor of the octopus/card sensor at the entrance of the carpark was very slow/insensitive. The winding path leading to the carpark at level B4 was so narrow and winding that it required great skills to meander around it. Drivers of the big cars are advised to stay away from this carpark.

I don’t think the mall at its current state still reflects their theme of being an “art mall”. A lot of their exhibitions spaces are now converted to shops. The new K11 musea is a lot more spacious, which is probably the better option for the display and exhibition of art pieces. However, this mall is still a good place to shop because it makes an effort to introduce new brands, some of the shops here can’t be found in other places.

Hong Kong offers a plethora of shopping options, but K11 is cooler and more modern than most. Great resource for those with a more contemporary aesthetic in search of something they haven't seen -- clothing, jewelry, shoes, fragrance, beauty fashion accessories, and some great home furnishings are on offer, along with some nice places for food and refreshment. Be sure check out K11 Select shops for great small producer products.

Loved going to this place! It has many little art pieces, pottery and abstract/surrealism art everywhere on the walls. There’s also a faint smell of vanilla/orange everywhere in the mall, and I just really like that smell in particular for some reason. The stuff sold in this mall is quite expensive, as a lot of huge brands (eg: Gucci, Laneige, La Occitaine) are sold here, but this place is great for window shopping!
