Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry pier One of the best natural resources of HK and it brings many economic advantages since long time ago. Hence, it is good for travelling by locals and tourists, either to reminiscence or just to take in the unique world class scenery . The immediate impact is the panorama view of Both HK island, Peninsula on both ends from the ferry admis the Victoria Harbour. All these beautiful views are available in all weathers , different for day and night and never fail to impress. Unfortunately the ride is only for 5 minutes because the habour distance between the piers on both sides of HK and Kowloon has been shortened by many reclamations during the past years. It is an inexpensive and memorable experiences giving excitement and surprises non-stop while travelling on board the ferry. Written on March 9, 2024

An alternative mode of transportation between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Peninsula, the ferry runs frequently and it’s affordable (should be around HKD5). You can choose between two destinations: Central or Wan Chai, depending on your destination. Just tap in with your Octopus card. We opted for Wan Chai pier, near to the MTR Island line for our journey back to the North Point area. The view was pleasant. We boarded slightly after 5pm and the ferry wasn't crowded. Keep in mind the last ferry departs around 11.30pm, heading to Central Pier only. We catch the last ferry after our supper and a stroll along the Avenue of Stars. But it’s a long walk to the MTR from Central Pier, so plan ahead accordingly.

The staff's attitude is very bad. There are signs at the entrance with baby carriages and trolleys that need help. A man with two children pushes a BB car to the staff in the monitoring room next to the stairs. The answer is: You lift it yourself and look terrible. Just like an enemy, you don't know how to welcome a group of tourists who come to an Asian international center with their children. The children are under five years old. This service attitude and this staff member hope to be reflected and warned.

It is not expensive, runs every 5 minutes, provides a great view of the city and the harbor and I would do this even if it was just to take the boat ride across. A really winner! Also, the trip is quick. I recorded it and it was less than 5 minutes.

IMPORTANT- Two things. First and most important - there are 2 levels (an upstairs and downstairs) on this ferry and try to load on the TOP level (you cannot go between levels when the boat is underway) so that you can get a view from the front of the boat. The bottom level has the front and back views blocked. Secondly, try to load first so that you get the best viewing place. If you are at the back of a big crowd you might wait for the next boat (they come super quick), to get a better viewing spot. Try to get the side that looks towards the city (the left side of the boat if you are getting on on the Kowloon side).

The staff at the pay point was helpful and even got me change for the token machine (which only takes small bills and coins - nothing larger than 20HK dollar note). The machines to get the tokens were easy enough to use and I was buying for a group of us and it was quick. The staff on the boat and those loading and unloading - super...

Star ferry an icon of Hong Kong Victoria Sea or Victoria Habour that may be can't find in other city, there may be samilar one like Sydney habour where as like Shanghai Singapore Swiss belongs to river or lake and the feelings are so different....!

Believe vistors would love to try it and see this very unique experience also need not to say that Star Ferry is so convenience to reach in betweens heart of Hong Kong Central district and Kowloon Tsim Sha Tsui all hotels and shopping malls !

By the way don't miss to visit to Top floor of Kowloon TST Star ferry car parking place because that is a very good position and place to view Victoria habour especially at time of sun set ~ is such a beautiful picture and good view you don't want to miss !

Of course after that should go near by restaurants to fill up as already...
