On arrival we were welcomed by the hotel receptionist Matilda,an extremely polite, smiling lady When we got to our room a personalised hand made card by Satiri and hand written message from Matilda congratulating us on our 30th wedding anniversary greeted us. These members of staff went above and beyond to make us feel specialšŸ’™ā¤ļø. The hotel itself is gorgeous,we had a superior room overlooking Mont Blanc and our queen size bed was beautifully made up and very comfortable, thank you to the housekeeping guys. We had an amazing experience in Chamonix, memories made to last forever. Matilda is a beautiful kind person inside and out and we hope that you go far with your careeršŸ™ŒšŸ™Œ. We hope to return one day Thank you Auberge du Manoir in making our anniversary very special Jacqueline and Mark Xx

The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from the city center (towards the south), in a peaceful area surrounded by mountains. It has a beautiful, authentic mountain chalet vibe — the wooden interiors give a cozy and warm feeling, very much like a traditional Swiss-style home. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with stunning views of the mountains right from the windows. The breakfast was good, though not extraordinary, but still satisfying to start the day. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, they also spoke English, which made communication easy. Overall, it’s a lovely and quiet place to stay in Chamonix, perfect if you want a relaxing atmosphere with great mountain views. Definitely good value for the price!

Perfect cozy hotel. Especially liked the attention to detail and the style of it. So many beautiful pieces of decor, placed everywhere with love. Something nostalgic felt about this place, some pieces of furniture may seem a bit old-fashioned (90s-2000s style), but it's used in a good way and it's definitely looked after, not shabby at all!!! Everything is clean. Moreover, the receptionist Franck was super nice and helpful, it's been a while seen I have seen someone from hotel staff who likes their work that much! He definitely deserves a raise 😁 The breakfast was great too! There was lots of different fruit, pastry, cheese and meat for sandwiches, variety of drinks as well. Overall our stay there was wonderful!

Great central location and the hotel itself is very rustic and cute. However, certain things were lacking compared to other 3 star hotels I've visited in Chamonix. ||Easy check in and we were able to store our luggage until our room was ready. Staff at check in and on reception very friendly and welcoming.||Room itself very spacious (we had 2 x junior suite) with balcony and great views of Mont Blanc. |Bed and bedding very comfortable. However room/bathroom was not well maintained/attended/serviced. We requested daily service by turning the door sign to green and asking at reception before we left for the day. The first day neither room was serviced. Toilet roll ran out on day 2 and we had to ask for more which was then not put into the toilet roll holder until our last day (we stayed 6 nights). Shower gel ran out and we had to ask for that to be replenished. Bulbs were out in the bathroom vanity mirror. Shower curtain yellow at bottom and smelly. Bedroom and bathroom floors were dusty and not swept or vacuum at all during our stay. Smoke alarm (or whatever style of alarm was supposed to be in the room) was missing. The only thing we noticed the room attendant do during each visit was make the bed and empty the bins. No vacuuming or sweeping, rinsing of shower, replenishing of loo roll etc.||Perhaps it was due to it being end of the summer season and just running a skeleton staff but only one member of staff was on duty at any one time. Breakfast was chaotic with things running out, juice and coffee machine regularly running low and the only staff member (who was VERY helpful) was rushed off their feet trying to replenish. Breakfast was also disappointing in terms of items offered compared to other 3 star hotels in Chamonix I've used and did not include any hot option except boiled eggs (no scrambled egg, no porridge etc). Just bread, jams, cheeses, cold meats etc.||For the money (close to €250 per room per night), I expected better servicing of the room and a better breakfast selection.||All in all an ok stay but I won't be...

The location of this inn is great. Walking distance to all the good restaurants in town, and you can even walk to the Brevent lift. The parking in front of the inn was a big relief and very convenient. the rooms were very comfortable, and the bar for après ski was nice. Just a few reasons we didn't give this a full 5 stars:|-- we found the breakfast not worth the $18 they charged per person, per day. They should either improve the quality of the food, or drop their breakfast fee. We would have paid $10 for the simple buffet offered. Instead, we walked down the road to a small café nearby where we had a nicer breakfast for less money.|-- the staff wasn't as helpful or as friendly as I would think for a smaller place. I think some of it was a lack of comfort in English.|-- one reason we booked at this place were the great pictures of the hot tub in their adverts. They didn't mention that you have to pay $10 per person per day to use the jacuzzi. for American travelers, that is not expected. I would recommend they charge all rooms a bit more per night, then make the facilities free for all guests. That is what we...

We had a wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly from Jessica who was so nice and genuine when we arrived. She even called us to check if we would be on time and offered to stay later than required if we were delayed. She also offered to help us with our bags given the hotel does not have a lift.

The room was lovely with a wooden theme. It is good size with a suitably sized bathroom. Reception gave us some good tips for restaurants and were up to date on closures in the area. There is tea available in the room and an iron can be delivered from Reception. The hotel offers free parking. Reception is 8am to 8pm (10pm on weekends) but access to the hotel can be gained throughout the night via a fob. The lounge area is very cosy and a nice place to relax. The price is also very reasonable, a bargain for Chamonix given it is a couple of minutes walk from the centre. We would highly...
