Café Broglie is a charming little spot that perfectly captures the essence of a French café. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The location is ideal whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a leisurely breakfast. The atmosphere is authentically French, with a cozy and inviting vibe. And let’s talk about the pastries ,the freshly baked croissants and pains au chocolate are absolutely delicious, especially paired with a good cup of coffee. A delightful place to start the day 🤍

Really good experience of service, and as a breakfast I can advise you the Continental Breakfast. It's from 7 to 12. Price-wise it's normal, the croissants are amazing. Café Broglie is more than a cafe, it's the place to eat in the centre where the smile is honest. For all girls and their love for good light in their online pictures, choose this terrace, choose a table with a white table cloth and order a wonderful lunch. Light is perfect, the background is very classy. In and outside. If you have any question, just ask.

We had a quick lunch on Saturday 3rd June at this café. The food was good, perhaps a little bit pricey due to the location of the café. The choice of dishes is somewhat varied, there is more than the obvious things - good. Nice area outside where we ate. Friendly service friendly but with imperfections sometimes: at the beginning I spilled some wine because my glass had been put over the tip of my knife (maybe because the tables are rather small). Nonetheless we stays and had a dessert which was fine and filling too.

Avoid Café Broglie at All Costs – A Toxic Experience

Café Broglie is, without a doubt, one of the worst places I have ever visited—not because of the food or the ambiance, but because of the appalling service. The staff here are not just rude; they seem to take pleasure in mistreating customers. From deliberate neglect to outright insults, the behavior of the waiters is nothing short of disgraceful.

Waiting for hours without service is common, but that’s just the beginning. Guests are reportedly insulted, mistreated, and in some cases, even kicked out for no reason. Reviews indicate a pattern of condescending, dismissive, and sometimes aggressive attitudes, with some visitors even describing racist and sexist remarks from staff members. This is not just poor service—it’s an outright toxic environment.

There are multiple accounts of customers being treated with hostility, ignored despite the café being nearly empty, or served only after others who arrived much later. Some have even experienced their payments being snatched out of their hands or being refused service for no logical reason.

While the café might have a charming location, it is completely overshadowed by the vile treatment of its guests. If you value basic human decency, respect, and an enjoyable café experience, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. There are plenty of better cafés in Strasbourg where you can enjoy a drink without...

It’s just a tourist trap. The most terrible service we came across in Strasbourg. After sitting, it took the waiter quite a long time to get our order, even though he kept reassuring us that he’d come soon. When we finally managed to order, even though I repeated 3 times that I wanted vegetable drink instead of milk due to being lactose intolerant, they brought cow milk. They also brought the items of our or order one at the time:first the omelet, 5 minutes later the bread, then the coffee, a few minutes later the milk to add to the coffee, then the viennouserie. After asking for the bill, we had to wait 15 minutes for it to arrive. When I complained, the waiter blamed the kitchen. The problem seems to be rather an absolute and general lack of organisation and professionalism than a kitchen prob. They rely on the location and decoration to compensate for the...

People of colour and minorities, give it a miss. We came in pratically on the heels of four caucasians. Their order was immediately taken. Sat for 10 min, no one approached us. Went up to the counter to ask if order should be placed at counter. Was told it would be taken at the table. Went to sit back down. Waited another 10 min, waitresses passed us to clear tables and take orders; still no one. Left. Despite our dark skins, we were apparently invisible. I wish they would just post a 'Whites Only' sign and be done with it.

We had been before but then we were the...
