La Binchstub is a tartes flambee specialist with a few branches around Strasbourg including this little spot ( on tiny Imp. de l'Écrevisse, just off Place Brogile. They are open for lunch and dinner seating times and a small interior with tight seating so worth making reservations if you want guaranteed tables. During our lunch at La Binchstub Brogile we were served up two delicious tartes flambee. The Munster with cumin and bacon was fantastic. The cumin added a really nice change of aroma and taste compared to traditional Munster on its own. We also very much liked the Comte with walnut and bacon. Both perfectly served with near wafer thin crust, crispy on the outside yet just sturdy enough to hold the ingredients. Loved the tartes flambee here, as good as we found in Strasbourg during our recent trip. Would gladly return to eat here again next time in Strasbourg. This is an easy place to recommend for anyone wanting to try the traditional Alsace tartes flambee.

If you're in Strasbourg and craving authentic Flammkuchen, Binchstub Broglie is a fantastic choice. This cosy restaurant offers delicious, well-prepared dishes that highlight the simplicity and rich flavours of this Alsatian specialty. The food was excellent—crispy, flavourful, and served at just the right portion size. The staff were very welcoming and, notably, spoke English, making the experience even more enjoyable for international visitors. The service was efficient, with a short to mid wait time, and the restaurant maintained a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Overall, Binchstub Broglie is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Flammkuchen in a friendly and comfortable setting. Highly recommended!

Wow. The Flammkuchen was amazing! I've had Flammkuchen in Germany before and never thought much of it... but the Flammkuchen here totally changed my mind. It was delicious! We had one with pear and blue cheese, one with raclette and ham and one with compte cheese and walnuts. The base was super thin and crispy and the sheer amount of cheese was awesome. The service was efficient and waiters and host very friendly and even spoke English with us. 10/10 would recommend. Place was absolutely packed to the brim with people on a Friday night.

The tartes flambées are excellent - the mix of taste is original, but also traditional at the same time in terms of cooking and dough. However, the service is not prepared for the many people that are coming. The tables are not separated, you eat with strangers right beside you. In the cave downstairs, your order can also be forgotten, as their machines lose the connection to the machine upstairs. After 40min of waiting, they didn't think anything was wrong while everyone was served except us (we were 3). Also, if there are noisy customers around (which cannot really be helped, since everyone is packed together), you can either get up and leave or tell them to shut up yourself, the...
