This is a small public square in the Old Town. There is an interesting sculptural fountain arrangement to see. This is a memorial fountain to the old cattle market that used to take place at this location.
You can also see an interesting 12th century tower structure across the street. This is the Lion's Tower of the Cattle Market. Restored around 10 years ago, this is a nice glimpse at Medieval architecture in Munich.
The Baroque and Rococo style Ruffinshaus building is also just off Rindermarkt. Unfortunately, we found the building under restorations and were unable to see its famous facade during our recent visit.
