Halolo Park - Sunway Pyramid — Attraction in Subang Jaya

Probably the best in Malaysia, and one of the best in Southeast Asia. Payout rates are quite fair and considered reasonable! Although their keychains and small pluahes are quite expensive and much higher than market price, its quite rigged to be honest. RM40 for a small key ring is quite expensive. I will definitely come.back here and bring along my friends. The place is very huge and has a lot of options from ley rings, to blind boxes, huge and medium-sized plushes, tidbits a d food stuff. I really had a lot of fun here. Claw machines from other countries should follow this Brand, they are the game changer. Highly recommended and a must visit when going to KL. I still gave a 4 star because machines are mostly luck based unlike their other branch which can be skill-based. Also, their key chains, RM40 per piece is very expensive. You can easy buy their stuff outside at RM19. Apart from that it la ks the element of surprise as you already know the winning price of the items amd also how many games was played before you. I visited Halolo Park with my family, hoping for a fun and different arcade experience.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be just like any other arcade—rigged and disappointing. We spent about 100 ringgit on the claw machines, hoping the kids would win something. Sadly, they left empty-handed.

At first, I thought the kids just didn’t know how to play, but after watching several attempts, it became clear that the claw machines were designed to drop the toys as soon as they were picked up.

I even had several turns where the exact same thing happened to me. It’s obvious that the machines are set up to win only the smallest prizes—keychain-sized toys and snacks—which isn’t the experience I expected at a place claiming to be the biggest arcade in Malaysia.

I’m genuinely disappointed by the lack of fairness, especially considering the amount of money we spent. It’s a shame because we were hoping for a fun, memorable experience, but instead, we left feeling cheated.

I will not be returning to Halolo Park and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine...

I saw a Chinese guy playing with the machine today around 3:27pm (with 3 dragonite plushes). After a few tries a male staff appeared and they seem like they’re good friends/acquaintances with each others. I didn’t actually see if the staff has fiddled with that machine or did I see that man inserting coins into it but from that point on he started use the claw without failure multiple times in a row. Everytime the claw went back up after picking up the prize it didn’t let go (usually the claw will open up its grip after few seconds of its pick up motion). After a few plays the man got all 3 plushes stacked up on each others at the drop off window. I don’t know if he’s helped by the staff because they had a relationship, or if that is a guaranteed prize he got for spending enough money, but 4-6 times of the claw not letting go like that don’t seem normal. Pls correct me if I’m wrong or misunderstood but until then I do not recommend spending too much money here.

Ps: I still managed to get other prizes before this so I’m not saying that it’s a scam...
