Today, I had a very disappointing experience at Ayam Penyet Express. While eating, I politely asked for a refill of the plain soup. Instead of simply explaining that there would be an extra charge, the manager came over with a rude and disrespectful tone, saying, "Er, kita punya sup kalau nak tambah kena additional charge, so nak ke tak nak?" We immediately said it was fine and decided not to have the soup after hearing about the additional charge.
At that point, the staff had already gone to the kitchen to get the soup. When they brought it out, the manager spoke to the staff and then came to our table, saying, "Staff sudah ambil, jadi kamu minum sajalah." What kind of attitude is this? How are we supposed to feel?
It wasn’t the extra charge that upset me but the lack of basic politeness,it’s purely an attitude problem.
This kind of service is unacceptable. Politeness and respect cost nothing but can make a big difference. Sadly, Ayam Penyet Express has lost me as a customer, along with others who now know about this.
For a bowl of plain soup, you’ve truly lost a lot of customers,what a shame!
What made it even more disappointing was that at around 6 PM, we were the only customers in the restaurant.

i ordered Ayam Penyet Bakar and my wife ordered Ayam Penyet which is normal one, they said Ayam Penyet Bakar might be little late, ok fine, then, after 45 minutes, i asked them to check on my Ayam Penyet Bakar if they are ready or not, they said still not ready, my wife and peoples around me already finished their meals even the kids also finished their meal, i even asked them to check for me few times, non of the waiters and waitress come to me to tell how long do i have to wait, an hour? 2 hour? tomorrow? u just slaughtered the chicken?oh my Goodness, so i just walked out to the cashier and i loudly said i didnt get my Ayam Penyet Bakar, 1 guy (maybe the manager), 1 cashier (lady) and another lady, they just chatting with themselves and just gave my money change, THEY NOT EVEN SAY SORRY! seriously?? non of them stand for me! thats why i am with a full of determination, im going to make complaint for this company. Once I came to this place around 12.15 pm when there were no customers in the shop, and before I can even seat on the chair, the indonesian malay employee (male) literally shouted: "Kamu yang india, keluar kedai sekarang!" (Translate: You indian, leave the shop now). 2nd - Hygiene. My Malay & Chinese friends ate here once and they told me that they notice phlegm at the side of their food and left the shop immediately.
