Siesta suites hotel advertised that they had A/C in the rooms. However our room did not have a functioning A/C. We made multiple complaints to the staff but nothing was done other than for them to visually inspect the unit. My father has a medical condition that is severe enough that it requires us to bring medical equipment with us. We were not able to stay in the room the majority of the trip due to the lack of properly functioning A/C.
WiFi is so slow it could barely load text.
Further, we paid for a room with 2 queens beds and paid extra to have a third person stay there. We were not able to stay in that room because its A/C was not fully functional either and the room was unbearably hot, in part, im guessing because it was on the top floor. We then given a TINY room with 1 queen, 1 pad, and an 18" wide couch made into a "bed"
Additional fun fact about the hotel:
The "pool" in the picture is actually located in the middle of a restaurant next door.
It is at least a 4 story building with no elevator.
We were moved to 3 different rooms. The A/C was not working in all 3. I have pictures to verify the broken A/C and screenshot to verify the lack of...
Read moreIt’s a good value accommodation in a very touristy town. There’s only a handful of rooms that seem to be managed very well by owners.
*Not quite sure what is “boutique” about this place. —- As a global traveler, a Boutique Hotel category of accommodation sets expectations of a themed/specialized amenities. —- This establishment is the usual motel or small hotel setting. —- There’s a mention in the description about an “outdoor pool” but there’s none that I found.
There are no lifts in this 3-level building. For those driving, there’s no parking.
Nevertheless this looks an EFFICIENTLY RUN accommodation. — Immaculately clean room with daily housekeeping. — Quiet AC with additional fans. — Comfortable bed — Strong WiFi — Hot water
The “kitchenette room” is not real a fully functioning one. Whereas there’s a fridge, a drip coffee maker, toaster, microwave and tablewares, there’s NOT a cooking plate/cooking utensils to even boil water.
The staff are very friendly. Several, especially in reception, are bilingual👍👍👍.
It’s a safe central location. A good base to explore Cabo and Los...

Long answer. Stayed at an all inclusive for the first 4 days. They would call my room to ask if I wanted activities. Bothersome to say the least. Every other employee was grumpy. I walked by Siesta Suites and got a quote. Very affordable so I stayed 4 nights. I had 10 times as much fun since I was in the middle of the city. GM and Owner are some of the most polite and welcoming people I have ever met. (And I am Canadian, that says a lot). Its a family owned business. Dad owns the property and hotel, son is the GM. Everyone from the front desk to house keeping were great. The bar and attached restaurant were fabulous. Only negative thing I can say was I had to buy the coffee grounds for my room. I think this is a Mexican thing, no one seems to offer free in room coffee. With all that said. 100% chance I'll return. Oh did I mention they did my laundry for a...
