If you are looking for a cookie cutter, resort style, busy, loud place then don't come here! This is a little oasis right in the middle of the town. The courtyard is a tropical oasis in the city. The standard room is basic and comfortable. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. Be warned you are in the middle of town surrounded by clubs and restaurants so bring your earplugs for sleeping, but you are in Cabo so it is a party town and you should expect loud music at night regardless of where you are staying. We loved spending time in the courtyard by the pool during the day as it is quiet and relaxing. Barbara and all of her staff are very attentive to helping guests whether it is to recommend places or ensure you have a comfortable visit. We were there over Christmas and it felt like to were staying with friends and family as this place is also a family home and there are only 11 rooms so very few people about which makes for a relaxing stay. The rooms do not have a tv which was fine for us as we had no need for one. Also there is wifi which works well in the courtyard but not so much in the rooms, but that makes sense as the rooms are spread out and it wasn't a big deal as we had great wifi outside the room. The pool is clean and refreshing during a hot day. There are many great restaurants close by, as well as the Pharmacy next door and the OXXO is a five minute walk away as well. The coffee shop across the Plaza is great if you need fancy coffees, and the homemade yogurt at the restaurant beside Casa is also delicious. They have coffee/tea available every morning as well as fresh pastries. The hot water is always available which was great for us to have oatmeal we had bought every day. The rooms also have a great sized fridge for you to have for your use which we found really nice. Our bathroom window did have a large crack in it but it didn't ruin our stay. Occasionally we lost power to the overhead fan and light but not unexpected in a smaller place in the city. There is also no in room safe but they offer to keep anything you need secured in their safe at the office, but we didn't feel the need as we felt very safe in the hotel and were not concerned. We figured out that our room which is one of the 2 standard rooms that are walk outs to the courtyard share a wall with the parking garage behind which did explain the occasional loud car sounds that we couldn't quite figure out, so if that might bother you don't stay in the standard rooms on ground level facing the courtyard. But we also liked that we were able to easily just walk out to the pool so it didn't bother us too much really, and again we spent most of our time out of the room anyways! As a sidenote if you need to head anywhere in a cab ask Barbara to help arrange it as we had Jose come and bring us to and from the beaches outside of town a couple of days and he is so great and picked us up on time, and can tell some pretty funny jokes and stories and we felt very safe and comfortable with Jose at the wheel! We loved staying here and hope...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed at Casa Bella Boutique Hotel for just one night before heading out on a 10-day diving liveaboard… and now we wish we had booked a full week.||||From the moment we arrived, the owner Bárbara made us feel like honored guests in her home (which, fun fact, it still is). She’s warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations for food and shopping.||||The room? A charming slice of hacienda heaven; spotlessly clean, comfortably cool (the AC was on and waiting for us), and loaded with character. Think handcrafted tiles, rich wood accents, and a vibe that Disney’s Imagineers can only dream of nailing. Bárbara even upgraded us to a king bed and gave us a generous 5 PM checkout so we didn’t have to roast outside with our gear at the dive shop. ||||The courtyard is gorgeous with lush plants, colorful flowers, and a quiet little pool that makes it feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Morning coffee and tea (with a huge selection) and delicious pastries made it even harder to leave.||||Wi-Fi was solid… fast enough to stream if you wanted, though honestly, just sitting outside scrolling with a breeze and a backdrop of bougainvillea felt like its own luxury.||||The location is stellar: just a short walk to the marina, great restaurants, and mini-marts. At night, the locked front gate adds a sense of security without feeling locked in.||||Whether you’re staying a night or a week, the Casa Bella feels like the Cabo experience you hope you’ll get. Quiet, authentic, and way more personal than any resort. Highly, highly recommended.||||Gracias, Bárbara, por tu amabilidad y hospitalidad. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento. ¡Esperamos...
Read moreCasa Bella is the perfect location if you want to do a lot of activities and tours while in Cabo! It’s about a 5 minute walk to one side of the marina or 10-15 to most boat/tour meeting points (depending on which side of the marina you need to go to). Staying here saves you lots of time and money so you don’t have to get a taxi every time you want to go diving or on a sunset cruise boat - you’re just a short walk away. It’s close to night life too (if that’s your thing). ||You’re also so close to so many restaurants! If you ask the owner, Barbara, she will send you a list of restaurants she recommends! It was very helpful as there’s just so many options! She can also recommend things to do. She can also arrange round trip transport from the airport. ||Every Friday evening, there’s a small art festival/market in the plaza immediately in front of the hotel with local artisans and vendors - check it out. There’s also a ton of shopping all around the hotel if you like shopping. There’s a small grocery market nearby and a mini fridge in the room if you want to have cold drinks. The hotel provides two bottles of water each day. ||It’s a family owned and operated small hotel. It is simple, very clean, and perfect - has everything you need. In the morning there is coffee, tea, and some breakfast treats. The tea selection is the largest I have ever seen! ||I highly recommend Casa Bella. The location is perfect and it’s very affordable compared to other...
