There was an array of things to see along the outdoor riverside lanes to the indoor riverside market. From the wide selection of food, to baked goods, breweries to liquors and wines, local products to international goods, coffee to chocolates, you name it! A group of us quickly split up to things that piqued each of our interest. For me, I went into the She Chocolaterie because I could smell it from outside. It was chocolate heaven in there, the rich smell of chocolate and passion made me drunk in love. I did some window shopping in Nevada Cashel. I also bought some goodies for my friends and family from the riverside collectives to support the local! Then joined by friends at the Canterbury Brewer Collective on their creative beers selections. But what caught my interest the most was Curiosity Gin and the Mulled Wine from Mischief with Wine. I had a Gin flight, which was an experiential time on my taste buds! Unlike the usual mulled wine we’ve had, the one at Mischief with Wine brings out the flavour of the wine which complimented the spices in the drink so well. For once, the citrusy flavours did not overpower the taste of the wine, which was what made it different from those that I’ve tasted. The day gone by quickly, I wish I could stay...
