Romancing the Lake Located on the shores of Lake Bled, this stunning hotel is the perfect place to find romance by the lakefront. Most rooms come loaded with spectacular views of the iconic lake. But what plays very well for this hotel is the proximity to the stunning lake but without being drowned by the touristy crowd. Charm away from the chaos, Serenity with Spectacular views. Couple that with the sweet and warm hospitality most of the staff pamper you with, you have the perfect retreat to base yourself in while you explore the attractions in and around the region. LOCATION: Incredible location right next to the best part of the Lake with easy access to the walking trail and cool cafes, bars and restaurants. DINE + DRINK:The Lobby level restaurant offers an excellent spread of local, regional and international dishes that is absolutely worth waking up for! The terrace bar attached to the hotel is the perfect place to catch the best sunset with your favourite drink. Do not miss it! ROOM: We stayed in Room 424, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Million dollar views of the shimmering lake from the huge Balcony of our room ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent spa quality cosmetics FACILITIES: Compact but good Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines. But the best part is the cool views you get from the gym while you work out. One of a kind! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to AMEL who provided a wonderful welcome experience, MILE at the restaurant who took care of all our special needs, and SARA at the bar for attending to us flawlessly! But the biggest compliments go to Ms. VASKELJ MOJCA who helped us all way from the time of reservation to arrival and ensured we had an enhanced experience to celebrate a very special occasion for which we had chosen the hotel for! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages. This was something that we never expected as most hotels in this part of the continent dont even have anything apart from the local languages -let alone this hotel making the big effort to subscribe to so many channels! Wonderfully done, and shows their class and care for guests from all around the world! COVID UPDATE: THe property has done an excellent job of ensuring safety, social distancing and hygiene to minimise the risk as much as possible. Especially the Common areas and Restaurant had a good implementation of the required rules

The entrance to this hotel doesn’t match the upper floors and rooms. Downstairs is super fancy, upstairs feels more like a hostel. Parking was convenient. Airco was a bit weak despite carefully closing windows doors carefully. bathroom was awesome. Bathrobes included. Chef helped me with allergies at breakfast and I was unwell after, a reaction to dairy that lasted all day, there should be better labelling at breakfast. There is not much choice at breakfast for gluten and dairy allergy with soy intolerance. gf bread contains soy, meat has dairy/cream veg hiding under. Lots of cross contamination with spoons used by other guests. I was told ‘eat fruit’ which isn’t helpful when you have chronic health conditions and all other hotels seem to manage ok. First night was crazy noisy with music till 1am. Couldn’t use balcony because it was so busy and noisy. We were exhausted so couldn’t take part and enjoy. No one explained the lights on the lake, someone in the UK told us. View was nice early in the morning when Bled wasn’t overrun with so many coach trips. After 9.30am it’s very busy and the balcony is above the main run of shops and casino so a bit busy. Our floor had a Turkish football team staying so the corridor was full of sports shoes. There were pizza boxes and sandwiches left all day in the lobby, some sandwiches on the floor, my husband cleared up because it was such a mess. They were super quiet though so good neighbours. The gym has no lighter weights under 4kg for women and a leak somewhere making the floor carpet wet. The room had a coffee machine but no coffee and when we asked they had no decaff. The pool is very nice and the rooftop sun deck is also very nice super clean and a great place to unwind. Sauna was extra €14 pp which should be included. We slept well but could have had a better experience for the price. Front desk was helpful and attentive.

Hotel is easy to find and it has a perfect location. Its located directly near lake. They have a coffee house on the lake. Check in went very smooth. Hotel looks very nice. Our room was comfy and clean. Bathroom is very nice. They have a wellness facilities on the 5th floor. Its nice, not too big but enough to enjoy a little bit. Breakfast was very nice with restaurant looking to the lake and castle. Very nice stay. We are going to visit it again. I have nothing against families with kids but...it is a very disturbing to go to wellness and then all the time you are disturbed by kids screaming and jumping into the pool and their parents doing nothing about it. As they think that they are entitled to make nose and enjoy the time disturbing others i think that i am also entitled to enjoy a little bit of silence. It's wellness area not Aquapark. Maybe it would be good to consider some policy that the kids can visit the pool area until 17h or 18h and after this time only adults to be granted entry.

Had a room with the view on the lake. It was spacious, very clean, you have everything you need, even wireless charger. Bed is very comfortable, memory foam, slept like a baby! Staff is very friendly, will help with anything you need. View is magnificent, to pay more for the room is worth it. Swimming pool on the last floor is not that big, but clean and was not crowded in April. Massage is excellent, stuff is highly trained. Plus, that hotel is a birth place of one and only Kremšnita. Food is excellent, variety is unbelievable, plus there is a chef who can make you fresh eggs in the morning. Ask for parking place upfront, before you arrive, space is very limited. If there is no free parking space, right across the street is paying one. Cleaning ladies start very early, so don't forget to put Do not disturb sign on the door. I'm highly recommending this place!!! Been there couple of times already.

A lovely stay in this hotel in October time for 3 nights. We paid to upgrade to a lake view room and waking up to this view every day never got old, absolutely stunning! We were on the 4th floor. Breakfast was fine, good selection, same every day but fine for us as not big breakfast eaters. Parking was easy, but costs €10 extra each day. The room was comfortable and clean, but nothing spectacular for the price you're paying. The cost here is definitely more for the view, location and facilities! The pool and sauna area was fantastic and we made great use of this during our stay, very relaxing! Also had a massage one day which was wonderful. The location is incredible, right out onto the lake and 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants and as mentioned the views from this hotel are spectacular! It's a pricey place to stay, but I do feel worth it for what you get in return.

The most remarkable thing about this hotel, or any of the hotels in the area, is the view of Lake Bled. However, the spa room at this hotel has stunning views of the lake, right across the Bled Castle and church below. You have a direct view as you sit on the sauna room!! The rooms are not as big as American hotels but that is typical in Europe. On the other hand, each room facing the lake has it's own private balcony with with a magnificent view, so make sure you get a room on the lake side. The room comes with free breakfast, which is more than the usual breakfast: lots of cheese, bread, fruits, fruit juices. They serve Pate, which is a local specialty. The water pressure in the shower in the room provide a relaxing effect, it is high pressure but not enough to cause sting on the skin. Highly recommended!!
