This hotel is quite easy to find, as it is located on one of the main roads leading into the town of Bled. It is about 5-10 minutes walk to the actual lake, making it an ideal place to stay when visiting the town and surrounding area.||||The hotel has it’s own free (covered) car parking facility just next door, where the entrance barrier is activated by a remote-control device that is issued to you during check-in. A lift is available to all floors of the building and is located just outside the hotel reception, next to some adjacent shops.||||Please note that you can only check-in to this hotel between 17:00 – 23:00 hours as the reception office is actually closed during the afternoon.||||Our room was exceptionally large and was decorated quite uniquely with a beautiful mural painting showing the history of Bled. The beds were very large and everything was extremely clean and tidy, including the private bathroom facilities. As this accommodation is rated as a ‘pension’ (and not a hotel), there is not a daily cleaning service (new towels or making-up of beds, etc.), however if you do require anything such as clean towels, then simply request this to the staff and it will be arranged immediately.||||Breakfast is at an additional cost and is made to order (via a menu). We ate breakfast everyday and it was always good (and fresh).||The hotel also has a restaurant in it and a large covered terrace outside. As a guest of the hotel, you do receive a discount if you eat there, however it does get very busy in the evenings (which is obviously a positive sign). We only ate dinner there once during our stay, but is was very nice and enjoyable.||||The hotel staff / owner(s) were always very friendly and helpful and were working very hard each time we saw them. Thanks for a very pleasant stay !||I would certainly recommend this...
Read moreThis “pension” are rooms on the second floor of a shopping complex. The reception is on the ground floor by the side of the restaurant. The person that runs the pension also runs the restaurant so that’s why the check in and check out hours are limited (the check out is at 5pm when the restaurant opens). Nevertheless, the administrator was gentle and let me enter the room one hour before the time of check in. One constraint of the limited check in time is the limited window of time to pick up your luggage in case you left it for storage.|I slept in the individual room a corner. The bathroom was outside, but only used by me. It had soap for hands and a set of towels was provided. The room was hot as an oven during the day, but it had a ventilator. In the night was fresh. It had also a small fridge and a TV with multiple channels. Unfortunately, the internet connection was bad in the room.|The pension is in a crossroads so it can be noisy if you leave the window open. But it is well located, 15m away from the bus stop and the main center. In the morning I was astonished by the cleaning ladies that were speaking/shouting to each other from one room to another. The administrator also came in talking with loud voice to them. Not a place if you plan to take advantage of the...
Read moreI stayed here recently for four nights with my husband and two children. ||We stayed in a large suite with one double bed and two singles. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a large air con unit in the main room which was sufficient to keep the suite nice and cool. Ample space and a fridge in the room too. ||We hired a car out for a day which we were able to keep safe in a gated car park. The wifi was hit and miss but to be honest who wants to keep going on the internet whilst they're on holiday?!||We had breakfast here which was nice. We had our dinner at the restaurant on our last night and I wish we'd eaten there sooner as the food was beautiful! One of the best steaks I have ever had!||The location of this hotel is great. It is a short walk from the lake and all the things going on there. There is also a bus stop right outside where you can take the bus to the Vingtar...
