I had seen and heard about the beauty of Switzerland and especially the town of Interlaken, Lucerne and Grindelwald in movies, postcards and other media platforms. Got a chance to visit these places in the month of Oct 2022. Must say the movies and the photos can't capture enough of what you actually experience by being physically present. The scenic beauty is just amazing with no words to describe. We took a bus ride from Zurich to Grindelwald via Interlaken. I wanted to catch up on my sleep but could not, as the Swiz country side just does stop amazing you with the lakes, water falls, greenery, coloured trees, medows and it's small villages. It's worth every penny you spend to experience this place You won't regret it.

It was my first time and I really liked it. There are many places to take very good pictures. It is great for strolling along the river. Either for a picnic with family or friends, or for a date and sunbathing. There is a part of the park that has tables closer to the children's parks. Do not forget that it is a place known for extreme sports as such it was a perfect day for skydiving and I saw several groups. It has paid parking. Various places to have lunch, the station's bathrooms have to be paid for. I highly recommend visiting.

Hohematte in Interlaken is an amazing place with breathtaking views of Swiss Alps. The park has well-maintained lawns, panoramic views of the Jungfrau and makes it so perfect for picnics, leisurely walks and loads of memorable picturesque areas. Whether you are a nature lover or simply seeking a peaceful escape, it's a must visit, if you are in Switzerland. To add, there are lots of cafes and shops conveniently located for quick bites or souvenir shopping.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Höhematte Park, nestled between east and west Interlaken, is a true gem! Surrounded by majestic mountains, this park feels like a serene oasis. Mornings here are particularly magical, with low clouds creating an ethereal atmosphere. I love starting my day with a coffee here or a refreshing run through the park. Watching the paragliders gracefully touch down adds to the charm. If you’re in Interlaken, this park is a must-visit. Highly recommend

We came to Interlaken to visit the Harder Klum overlook. Afterwards we came to the park to relax. It was very cool to use people paragliding down and landing in the park. It has a nice open space with good mountain views. It is also very close to many restaurants, especially Indian restaurants. It is also across the street from some hotels, making it very convenient park to spend time in.

A lovely place to watch paragliders land. The gardens are beautiful, but there are so.many.people.taking.selfies. There are some benches to sit and watch people or to enjoy the scenery. Right across the street is a lovely place to get Swiss ice cream (I recommend the Swiss chocolate and eating it in the park). Also across the street is a free little library for reading lovers.
