Stayed here for 4 nights. On check in, they say they are more like an airbnb. Pros: The location is pretty good, in between Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West stations.
The staff were very friendly on check-in. They also offer to keep your luggage before and after check-in for free, which is nice.
Very close to restaurants, about a 5-7 minute walk to Coop.
Bus stop in front of hotel.
They have a kitchen, if you want to cook your own food, and they also have kitchen utensils.
They have a decent-sized elevator (not all hotels have this feature).
Breakfast has pretty good options (for Europe).
They have a pool and sauna.
Cons: Check in is around 4PM (later than most) check out is 10AM (earlier than most).
Reception is not 24 hours in case you need anything.
No housekeeping everyday. In fact of the 4 nights we stayed, our room wasn’t cleaned once. You had to take the garbage out yourself as needed. This was disappointing, especially when we paid over $3,500 CAD for 4 nights.
Laundry facilities are available but they charge 5CHF per wash and 5 CHF per dry. Their washer was small (as in most hotels we’ve stayed in Europe) so we had to do use 2 washers. I expected this to be included in the price of the stay.
They charge extra if you want extra towels and garbage bags. I think we had 3 garbage bags and 3 biodegradeable bags.
No microwave. We had to use the stove to reheat food.
No airconditioning. Not a big deal when we were there as it wasn’t hot but I would consider this during the summer.
Shower only had a body wash/shampoo combo. No free lotion. No conditioner. Not a big deal since we brought our own but for the price we paid, I was expecting that at least this is available.
Otherwise, we had a good stay. We were out usually after breakfast and back in the evening for excursions. We chose this place because it had a kitchen and traveling with a kid, it worked more for us to prepare our own meals most of the time, versus to keep looking where to eat. We also liked how close it is to the train stations, and Harder Kulm. Would consider staying here again but probably not during the summer if there is no air conditioning, and maybe would find another place that has a microwave and offers...

Checking in experience - the receptionist with the glasses doesnt know how to smile, she lack the hospitality warmth vibes. And the way she speaks gives typical cold swiss vibes. Then she Should not be placed or worked at front desk. But she smile at others. Im asian, and interlaken has many asian visitors. Is she racist that she smile at others but not to me?
Steam room - take note that this resort charge 17chf for a bathrobe when other resort or hotel give it for free!
Room - the worse ever. Firstly, their information on website is misleading, 2 rooms means 1 bedroom and dirty sofa bed full of dust mite at the living room. So if you are family or 2 couples or group of people, you willl need to take the 3 bedder room. The layout is weird, the shelves are bolted in spots where it can be hazardous for people who are 1.65m and above. Entire ambience is not giving resort. Pillows - one pillow per bed, it’s uncomfortable and if you want more, you can take from the store room which is full of dust - no thanks. Mattress - nothing 4 stars about it. Below the bed, dusty and dirty.
Housekeeping - they dont provide such thing. Maybe cos they are under private equity company, so they do away without the important part of a hospitality service.
Toilet - clogged, bath towels are so thin it can be mistaken as floor towel or hand towel. Wow a four star resort - they should learn from other four star resort to see what is four star resort like. Liquid shower Soap was given less than 50% of the bottle. Maybe in their mind, one squeeze is enough. Like i said they are stingy.
Kitchen - cutleries and utensils are good. Their liquid dishwashing soap must have been mixed with so much water - its diluted and you end up using more to clean well. I think they are really on budget and stingy mode.
We wrote an email with out feedback expecting some actions - no one reply. LMAO. I will never ever come back to...
Read moreThis hotel has one of the best locations in Interlaken. Great views from balcony, walking distance to howheweg street(Main Street) and tons of restaurants..breakfast option is also good as they had good amount of options ranging from fresh juices to oatmeal, croissant to fresh cut fruits..
We stayed here for almost 4 days and booked 2 rooms for a party of 7 and we had multiple bedrooms as well as restrooms. Considering it can be hot, they do have portable fans in room which easily solved the problem for bedrooms getting hot. Bedrooms were spacious for two adults and plenty of living room space along with sleeper couch. They have a nice mini kitchen in rooms to help preparer quick meals or heat up food as well as refrigerator.
I do agree with other posters about service being only done during check in and you would have to request new towels from reception everyday if you need those to be a bummer.
Overall this place is good apartment style living and can be a nice spot if you are looking for something in heart of Interlaken.. The tour buses for Jungfraujoch, paragliding etc all start within walking distance of this hotel. Highly recommended!
I agree with many other folks that this place has not been marketed enough and luckily I found some YouTube videos of this place which convinced me to book it.. if I decide to visit Switzerland again, I would definitely consider Hapimag again for my stay...
