Seebad Luzern is an absolute gem. When you're in town, this is a must-have experience for a refreshing swim in the lake's pristine water. The views of the surrounding mountains and city are simply breathtaking. We loved relaxing on the sun deck, and the staff was so friendly and warm, making the whole visit even better.

This placeis amazing. Rightin the centre of the promenade, with great access to the lake and a quieter basin to swim in aswell. Two stories high with a snack and drinkbar it's right out of a cote d'azur novel with its blue and white theme. Small entrance fee. The views are magnificent.

The entrance is 6chf but is definitely worth it. Amazing views from Luzern and a vintage vibe that will guarantee a great time. The have 2 sort of platforms where kids older kids can safely go in the like. Just take in consideration that it’s not baby-toddler friendly.

This is—in my opinion—the best place to go swimming in Lucerne! You can spend however long you want there, it's great for a quick lunch break, a nice afternoon, or even a whole day swimming! There is a lifeguard there, so you can always feel safe (and small lockers for your valuables), and they have great food and a nice bar. They also have great ice cream, and great staff! I especially like the chairs and parasol (which you have to bring yourself to most other beaches), and you can also rent beach chairs, which are great for relaxing, particularly on the big rooftop with an incredible view. From the Seebad you can see the whole lake, the city of Lucerne, Mount Pilatus, the Rigi and the...

If you’re not a likely candidate for heaven or paradise, try living it in this life where SEEBAD Luzern is the next best thing. Sun’s out? This is the place to be. Cold drinks ( try the limoncello spritz), a killer bar menu, friendly lifeguards, and deck chairs with a lake view that could convert even the grumpiest non-believer.

I usually sit downstairs with the old-timers — they’ve clearly figured life out early. You can swim, tan, eat, repeat… and then catch a sunset that’ll make you wonder why you ever booked that flight to Bali.

Bonus: the staff are...
