Really a great place for some brain food and it’s FREE (hard to believe there is such a free gem in Switzerland ofcourse despite the wonderful breathtaking views which mostly free).

So, there are paperguides and magazine in english on the front table, I’ve really enjoyed here from the very start with space; meteroits, stardust, even a stone from the first manned landed on the moon, earthquake simulation, eruptions and volcanos, all kind of beautiful rocks, minerals, crystals (mostly found in Swiss ofc), geology in general with the chemical formation, and I ended up with looking at the Mars exploration. This is an amazing earth science museum with rock exhibit and a super cool earthquake simulator! If you come at the right time, you get to experience three very different levels of earthquakes, from real ones that actually happened to the man-made ones. I don’t even have to say that the kids loved this part! The people involved are all very nice and more than happy to share their knowledge. We really had a lovely day. There are also some amazing rocks on display, a play corner with different books to go through, dinosaur toys and a globe showing the movement of the continents.
