Junkyard Golf Club | Crazy Golf Newcastle — Attraction in Newcastle upon Tyne

My son and his girlfriend were up from Preston for the weekend. They booked junkyard golf on Saturday night After having a meal in Cote which they said was amazing not like these rip off merchants, when they arrived, they were asked for their ID which they had left at my house. They are both over 18 one 19 and one 20 and they we’re both refused entry and told they were not going to get a refund because they should have cancelled it 48hrs before they went but how the hell could they do this when they had only booked it a couple of hours earlier they were not shown any sympathy or empathy they are a young couple who work all week to keep a roof over their heads and with the cost of living crisis could only come up to see me if I covered the travel costs so I hope people read this and be wary about the way this establishment treats young people I will be putting my Feelings all over social media and as I have a member of family who works on the local radio station , I will get them to bring this topic up as well and...

A great night at Junkyard Golf. I am perpetually late due to being blessed with ADHD 😂 but the team at Junkyard were happy to fit us in, despite arriving after our allotted slot.

We made use of the 50% of for January voucher and found this really made us get the best value for money. The courses/holes are fairly short - but they are all enjoyable! We particularly enjoyed “Gary” the disco/UV section 🪩

With 3 courses and 27 holes - with 2 people we spent 2 hours at Junkyard. ⛳️

This included a 10 minute stop to sample their cocktail menu - which is even cheaper Mon-Wed 🍸

We were in a celebratory mood and a cheeky request to the wonderful staff and manager on site was well received and resulted in a welcome treat for my friend! 🤩

The staff even helped pick up my crutch when I dropped it (without being asked)

We visited here for the first time on a busy Saturday. We had pre booked 2 games for 4 people. Getting booked in was easy and all the staff we came across were really helpful and friendly.

There are different rounds of golf you can choose when you book, each had 9 holes I think (poss 8). The holes themselves are quite short but still seemed to take us all on average about 3-5 attempts each haha. There is a main bar on entry and then little mini bars as you go around the holes to break it up a little. There was plenty to choose from drinks wise and they offered a great selection of cocktails which proved very popular.

I would recommend booking a couple of games but this can become quite costly once you factor in drinks and you’re done within about 90 minutes if that. But we all had a good laugh and really...
