Local By Design Downtown — Attraction in Annapolis

Not only is it a super cute boutique, but the employees are so incredibly nice! We went into the shop looking for a specific pillow we had bought a little over a year ago, as our puppy ripped it apart a few months ago. The woman working was unable to find the pillow in stock, but exchanged numbers with us for when they were back in stock. Only about 20min later while we were at dinner she texted us to tell us she had found two in storage! She had already closed the shop for the day, but was next door and gladly came back over to the store to get the pillow to us. Not only did she get the pillow for us, she gave it to us for free!! Waited outside main street location to open, about 30 min. When employee arrived to unlock door, I was not greeted w/ "Good morning" or "Thanks for waiting, I'll be right w/ you". At first I thought this was a really wonderful place! Nice local artworks and well-designed space. However, gradually I found this is not a welcoming place at least to me and my friend. The staff was not friendly to us (but she smiled and said hello to other customers).
