Biscayne Lake Gardens — Attraction in Aventura

I’ve been renting in this complex for many years. I first rented here back in 2001 so my daughter could attend the elementary and middle schools in the area. Four years at bldg K, then I moved to another part of Miami, but returned in 2012, and have been here ever since. I can’t explain why really, but something about BLG is comforting. I feel like I fit in. There’s this unassuming small, man-made lake in the back, but WOW, so many different types of birds inhabit or visit that lake. It’s really quite peaceful. The buildings are old and do need some TLC, but it doesn’t bother me too much. The condo/office manager and board have been flexible with me and accepting. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID 1ST FLOOR PLEASE If you plan on moving into this Building. 2nd or 3rd floor will be fine but AVOID the 1st floor. Due to the insane flooding that hit Aventura June 12th 2024. EVERYONE'S 1st floor condo including mine unfortunately got destroyed from the whole thing. Very traumatic situation to go through as I lost all my furniture in the process.
