I love this Church. It is always, clean, in decency and order. Immaculate, professional, courteous, quiet, spotless and always have candles lit when you walk through the doors. The anointing that is upon that church is heavily soiled and saturated. I feel GOD'S PRESENCE when I goes through that door. Glory to GOD!
I am proclaiming that this church is a church that is a citadel. I am African American. In addition to, I am a Christian and I really do not know anything about Catholics. I just know what I feel when I walk through that door. It's Holiness! Even when looking at the picture's of the Church online gives me the shivers and quakes. Jesus! I have such admiration, respect😙 for this😇 Anointing on this Church. Out of all the African American Churches that I visited and joined when I tithe I never really seen an increase. This, Church that I am not a member of only visitation of different occasions because I needed to hear from GOD! HE SHOWED UP AND MET ME THERE AT THIS CHURCH! I put all that I had in that Church all over where every statue was. I lit candles and scraped all my change out of my pocketbook, wallet and even brought a can of pennies to that Church. Before, I left that Holy Ground money would Miracelous come to my bank accounts. I am telling the Holy Ghost Truth. I don't know any parishioners in that Church. I just know whomever is the leader must be A Holy Man of GOD! He must have a strong Prayer Covering over the Church to Bless anyone that comes through that Door of that Church.
It's been hard for me to catch it open. However, it is time for me to go back. I just probably need to just send in my tithes to this church eventhough O am not a member. That's, how much, I believe in the anointing oil on this Church. A Church of Holiness. A Citadel! GOD is so much in this Church that I be scared he going to speak directly from Heaven out loud to speak to me. I know it sounds crazy. The Angels are with this Church. I believe that they are sitting on that Church and that Cross. I hope this really helps someone out who maybe going through trials, darkness, Spiritual Attack's, confusion, lost, hurt, embarassment, humiliation, defeat, mockery, satanic attacks, abuse of all kinds your answer is in this Church. The only thing that I asked is BELIEVE.
He will meet you there at this citadel. I have to return now because GOD wants to meet me there at this Holy Ground. People really should remove their shoes off when coming into the presence of The Lord. It's Holy Ground! I feel it! I speak from truth. John...
Read moreI moved to the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 2023. I have been a parishioner at St. Al's for about a year and a half, and a member of the choir for almost a year. I have had a terrific experience here so far. The Parishioners and Staff are friendly and there is a sense of respect and reverence for inside of the church (the sanctuary) and for the liturgy and sacraments (e.g. long confession lines) the sacrament of confession is taken very seriously here; it is so refreshing to witness. This is my first "Traditional Latin Mass Parish" that I have ever been a member of, as a lifelong Catholic, and I can testify that I have found this community to have complete respect and fidelity to Rome and the Holy Father and welcoming to all who enter through the doors. Our Pastor, Father Bozant, and the other priests, are kind, patient, hospitable and understanding of the spiritual needs of their flock. Parish wide novenas are led here, regularly, and I have participated in a number of out door Eucharistic Processions that are conducted with pomp, reverence and beauty (e.g. rose petals, bells ringing and even a bag piper), that just adds to the positive spiritual experience. My favorite event here has been the annual devotion to St. Joseph in March, with a huge, very well decorated, "St. Joseph Table." The buildings are older, but are being renovated and I look forward to what the future brings. I highly recommend...
Read morePlease don’t take this the wrong way. I was called out by the priest for my children being inappropriately dressed for daily Mass, and I want to save anyone else the embarrassment. I can truly say I was ignorant about certain aspects of the Latin Mass before making a last minute decision to bring my six kids (oldest was 13) to a Friday Mass. So my advice: 1) you are not expected to follow along and give responses during Mass like NO, 2) long pants on all ages of boys and skirt or dress if you’re a woman, 3) coach your children on how to take Communion on the tongue, even if you think they know how, 4) bring a scarf or veil as covering. If you’re like me and find it hard to find matching shoes for all the kids before you get out the door, you may find going from the NO Mass to Latin Mass with six kids overwhelming. Perhaps go by yourself first so you can feel comfortable. That’s what I wish I had done. God bless! I hope to make it back by myself someday, but right now it’s too stressful to think about taking...
