Looked online and showed up on Tuesday July 29, 2025 for the 6pm showing of Fantastic Four. They said there wasn't a 6pm showing but there was a 7pm showing. Was looking forward to seeing it and I had invited my nephews my son and a couple friends. Was thinking it was going to be $5 each but it ended up being $8.00 each per ticket because they updated the system so it wouldnt scan our rewards thing which then it would have been $5 instead of $6. We had to pay a extra $2 for like a laser projected screen per ticket because it was the only showing that we had time to attend since they didn't have the 6pm showing and my friends had to get home because they wake up for work at 4am. I don't want the laser screen I wanted to pay the least for my ticket to watch the movie. I seldom go to the movies. I only go to Marvel and DC movies and F&F movies. Everything else I watch it when it goes on streaming services. I gave it a 3 star review because the reclining seats and food trays are awesome and very comfy and you don't feel packed in like sardines like normal seating. I like that you can also walk through the aisles without touching random people. The theater was pretty clean also so I liked that they kept up with that. They need to fix their movie times on line to where they are correct as people unfortunately have to pay for parking downtown. If they don't fix the pricing I unfortunately won't be able to go to the movies anymore. My bills take most of my income and I'm trying to get out of debt because I might have to move in December. Also they should have liners for the metal popcorn buckets it's hard to clean the popcorn butter out of the crease at the bottom...
Read moreDefinitely my go-to movie theater in town. Just... one suggestion / million dollar idea: can we get "no phones showings"? I'd gladly pay an extra dollar per ticket to have an employee hang out in back and no warning, just boot folks giggling over tiktoks while the rest of us are trying to suffer through Kraven. I know. There's the message before the movie. Just... I enjoy the movies differently than some (people on phones have become a constant at the movies now, and if that's how they enjoy... that's okay - like how some folks like to listen to boomboxes on trails and golf courses). Would just like to have the option to not have that going on. (And to not get cussed out by some mom for talking to her son asking him to stow the iPhone.) Eh? /endOldManRant But yeah. Otherwise, great theater. Best seats in town. Be sure to get the frozen...
Read moreFirst good modern theater in Boise proper. The recliner seats are great. The A/V quality is good. Biggest reason for the 5*, I've stopped going to Village Cinema because their projectors are hit or miss. Not an issue here, picture quality is always pretty good. I love that they do Flashback Cinema here now.
Concessions are expensive but that's par for the course at any theater. The popcorn is tasty. I do wish they had better soda selection - Mello Yello, Mtn Dew, or Fanta would be nice.
I do like that you can easily buy movie tickets for future dates on the kiosks in the lobby. If you plan ahead, you can avoid the online fees that way.
Wish they validated parking, but you can find free parking in the evening if you're...
