🌟 JUMP (Jack’s Urban Meeting Place) Boise – 5 Stars for Family Fun & Adventure ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently spent a sunny Saturday afternoon at JUMP Boise, and it was an absolute delight for both kids and adults alike! From the moment we walked in, the creative energy and welcoming vibe made every moment memorable. 🕒 Saturday Hours (Summer): Lobby open from 9 AM to 7:30 PM (some sources note 10 AM–5 PM lobby hours too, but the official schedule confirms 9 AM–7:30 PM) . Slide Zone: Open 10 AM–12 PM—weather permitting (slides close if it’s over 90°F) . ⸻ 🎯 Why Our Visit Was a Hit • Spiral & Team Slides: Kids (and brave parents) loved the five-story Spiral Slide—a thrilling, lit-up ride that gave us all the adrenaline rush we were seeking. Know the rules first: riders must be at least 3 years old and 44 inches tall—and slides may close without warning if staffing is limited or if the weather is too hot . • The Climber: A unique three-story net structure, offering fun challenge and plenty of space to climb—even the older kids tackled it with gusto! A standout feature not found in ordinary playgrounds . • Free and open public park: Gorgeous community space with vintage tractors, amphitheater lawn, Blue Top sports court, and more—perfect for roaming, relaxing, or creative play with great free access . ⸻ 👍 Highlights From Our Day • We arrived before 10 AM to enjoy slide time before temperatures rose—wise move since slides are closed if it gets too hot! . • Multiple play zones kept every age busy: slides, climber, wide-open lawns, and even vintage tractors the kids could learn about. • Indoor studios and activity spaces offer creativity, events, and experiences for all ages—though most of the day we were happily outdoors . ⸻ ✨ Final Thoughts JUMP Boise is a standout destination for family-friendly adventure and downtown exploration—all in one place. The Saturday hours offer plenty of flexibility, and the slides and climber provide excitement for active kids. Bringing your whole crew? Don’t miss the Slide Zone early before midday heat, and save time to explore the beautiful grounds too. Would definitely return—five stars well deserved for a spot that blends imagination, activity, and community spirit seamlessly. — A grateful family of adventure-seekers

Complete fail...

My gf's friend recommended the guided tour of the tractor exhibit. The tour is only offered once a week, on Wed afternoon. Our trip went bad right from the beginning. Which parking is public, and which is for employees only is confusing. After figuring it out, the ramp to the public parking took us to the third floor. Getting out of the car, there is no signage whatsover. No direction to the passenger elevator. Or the stairs. Or any indication as to where the exhibit starts. Or where one should go simply to find the main desk or lobby. Several groups of workers were unable to direct us either. After finally finding the stairs, and heading down all three flights of them without really knowing where we were going, we reached the bottom floor of the parking garage, where we came in. Again, no signs as to where to go, no indication of which of several doors led to the main lobby, and left to your own devices as you wandered among the roadways to figure it out.

When we finally did find the main lobby, the man at the desk told us that the Wed tours had been cancelled "until further notice." No indication of this on the website. No way to know that before showing up. In addition, there is no free program or guide to the exhibit. Instead, one can either buy (for eight dollars) or "borrow" a book (which means having to return to the main desk to bring it back). No thanks. And the exhibit starts on the third floor, where we were in the first place! We took the finally found passenger elevator to the third floor (there is no second floor, by the way, for whatever reason), we realized the exhibit is actually strung out all across the third and fourth floors of the parking garage, again, without any direction as to where one should start, which direction one should proceed in, and so forth. So, we ended up doing the exhibit out of order. In addition, some of the tractors are not on either floor, but scattered hither and yon in inaccessible areas of the building, and even across the street!

As an aside, the rest of the building, ie the fifth and sixth floors, are not open to the public. And there are little areas of the third and fourth floors that are not part of the parking garage, public access to which is not made clear.

I have never, in all of my life, seen a worse presentation of a museum exhibit. Nor an ostensibly public building with a more confusing, unprofessional, visitor-unfriendly, lay out, design, signage, etc. JUMP is a complete disaster.

I gave the experience one star only because the tractors themselves, and the associated descriptions, were...

Jack's Urban Meeting Place (JUMP) in Boise, Idaho is a fantastic community center that offers a wide range of activities and events. This place is truly a gem that everyone should visit at least once. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and creativity that permeates the space.

The architecture of the building itself is stunning, with a modern and sleek design that blends seamlessly with the surrounding area. Inside, there are multiple floors filled with state-of-the-art meeting rooms, event spaces, art galleries, and even a theater.
