If any of you had visited Chicago’s Navy Pier prior to 2016 and hopped on the Ferris Wheel there, you’re in luck, this very Ferris Wheel is the same one. In 2016 this Ferris Wheel was relocated here to Branson to continue its life enlightening family, friends, and couples with its enjoyable and relaxing 7 min round trip (usually 14 minutes as the conductor will most likely let you go twice when its not busy) ride and view of the surrounding areas. The Ferris Wheel boasts 40 individual gondola’s that can accommodate up to 6 passengers. Tickets via their website are $12.99 per adult and $8.99 for kids 11 and under. The wheel is a continuous moving structure. Boarding folks come in one side of gondola, and exiting folks go out the other. The Ferris Wheel also hosts a laser light show on the side of the wheel. So if you stop to have a snack before or after your ride be sure to sit long enough in the evening to enjoy the show. The ride staff will snap a quick picture of you and your group, to which the photos can be purchased at the end for (IMHO) a bit of a hefty price, but don’t fret there is a large wooden board on a wall near the exit where a big ole group selfie can be taken. Enjoy the history...
Read moreLet me start by saying, I love ferris wheels. The taller the ferris wheel the better. I love waiting as they slowly load the ferris wheel and it slowly makes it way to the top and I sit there for a brief moment and soak up the beautiful view but nothing compares to that moment everyone is on and the ride starts and as it goes around 2 or 3 times and I feel that wonderful sensation of the wind gently blowing through my hair. With this Ferris wheel, this was not the case. First off, it costed 60 bucks for me and my 5 kids to ride. I felt that was a little steep. As we stood in line, I was told that the ride would not stop and we would have to get in quickly. I found that to be very stressful and so did my children. my son tripped and fell while trying to make his way to his seat. Once we were loaded we slowly made our way to the top, as the Ferris wheel was continuously being loaded, it had to stop once because someone could not get in fast enough. Once at the top, the view that we could see was great, but otherwise it was slow and boring except for the stress of getting in out of the ride. Save your money and watch the pretty lights the Ferris wheel...
Read moreWhat an amazing experience the Ferris Wheel was. I would normally not write a review for this but I felt compelled by the extreme professionalism/customer service and just plan Ole coolness I experienced. I was fortunate enough to run into Joe an employee at the wheel who not only explained all the options available to me around the wheel but it felt like I was talking with an old friend. I've never seen an "employee" more excited to show me or explain to me the excitement of the wheel, the lights that sync with the music, the history of the wheel, the track, andys I actually got off the wheel and went back to talk with Joe about other local things to do. Long story short. Hold on this employee and make sure he is exposed to the public, I sure hope some of the younger kids are watching him cause if they are your building an amazing team!! Thanks Joe and thanks for the cool experience!! Hope I see you next time I'm down for the Ferris Wheel and go carts!!! PS (Here's an idea 💡 create a vip experience where for a fee Joe takes a group of guests around your attractions/jumps lines and get vip treatment. The experience would be one of a kind...
