West Coast Organics — Attraction in Brookings

We stopped going to this place a few years ago because the customer service was appalling. But we thought, it's been a while so might as well try again. And then there we were, trying to show our IDs, my husband's Id was stuck packed in his wallet and I had already gotten mine out. But the lady at the counter demanded he remove his id along with the other packed stuff in that pocket. When he told her the last person to check IDs didn't do that there, she told him, well I'm implementing the policy today. She claimed that a regulatory agency has forced her to do this but at other stores and dispensaries, no one demanded this. Further, the fact she stated she was implementing it right now, forcing it on my husband in particular, was ridiculous. Upon visiting another dispensary her claims about a crackdown were proven totally invalid. Worse, seems like west coast keeps losing customers because of this kind of condescending treatment. We won't be going back. But if you make it thru the wormhole of antics, West coast still has some fairly good weed. And...

Since I'm a medical patient I spend a lot of money here. They have some of the best bud and oil for the price I've seen in the state. My experience today has made me think twice about returning however. I was "helped" by a girl I haven't seen before named Cassidy and she was extremely catty, combative, and argumentative. She insisted on arguing with me on and on about something that was a matter of OPINION... Instead of just letting me have my own opinion. She was very rude and ruined my day. It took everything in me not to just start yelling at her right there in the shop. Melissa on the other hand is sososo sweet. Next time I'm going to pop my head in and if I see Cassidy, I'm going to the next shop. She needs to learn how to treat customers properly, especially medical patients (some of us require a lil extra patience...

I came in this morning was not only treated rude but they dont even honor the prices they advertise on weedmaps claiming its not updated yet they had two of the strains i saw online for one price yet they wanna charge more in store. Worse dispensary experience that ive ever dealt with. Im a US Vetran and a senior and even regardless nobody deserves rudeness like that. And I even drove from out of town just to come here because people said they were great. Definatly was not great for me thats for sure.... Went to a different place and they were so good to me I spent $220.00. So WCO you lost out on a good sale and returning customer. I Highly Reccomend Bud Bros....
