Dank 716 : Best Dispensary in Buffalo and WNY’s First Licensed Dispensary — Attraction in Buffalo

Update 04/19/25 My honest review after almost 8 months in going there. This is not a paid review and I wanted to update after having the so many different interactions with everyone in the store at this point. I’m brutally honest as tax are expensive but my wellbeing depends on quality products not just good interactions.

Since my initial review, there have been a couple of legal dispensaries that opened up in West Seneca and the Southtown area that were significantly closer. I definitely checked them out, I don’t have any complaints…but I have to say I’m still really happy with dank!

Maybe I’m old fashioned but customer service and kindness means so much to me…after meeting one of the owners last week I have more to say… after meeting her and talking with her with keeping her from leaving to her next destination, she is so kind! I definitely know why everyone that works there follows suit, with great enthusiasm and customer service.

I literally cannot say enough about The Customer Service! Emma, the manager is absolutely phenomenal! She is kind understanding, compassionate and understands that cannabis can be used for more than just recreational activities. I had a few issues with a product, to zero fault of dank 716. Even though the product was faulty, not the dispensaries fault Emma not only rectified the situation but also encourage me to reach out to the distributor which I did. I drive over 46 minutes to get there. I live less than seven minutes away from multiple dispensaries in Irving, New York but still choose Dank! Aside from my experiences with Emma the other employees are always very friendly. Security is not intrusive and makes you feel very comfortable. All the employees have great knowledge of not only the products that they’re selling, but overall ones that are on the market. Being the first Medical recipient in Western New York that went to go to a legal medical dispensary in 2016.. (they closed due to their products) I have extremely high expectations as I use it for medical purposes. Haven’t been disappointed with Dank yet and don’t anticipate I will be! See yall Thursday!! SO so service. First time walking in there. No hi just give me your ID. Should’ve been obvious with me looking around breaking my neck to see what else they got going on. That I’m a new customer and that I never been in there before.

It Could’ve been a bigger sell then just an online order that I was doing for a friend and picked up for. They Could’ve told me if there’s anything else you want with your purchase. Or what’s new what’s on sell or promotion any of that. No…. just bye… take care. And they carried on with their personal conversation about a place not having cheese tf. Again It’s understandable my purchase was made already. But honestly the VIBE wasn’t it and I don’t understand why the place is so hyped besides it being close by.

But it’s Just business and leave. And by just looking around for the 3 mins I was in there. All I saw…. Was just corporate business. Nothing welcoming. Nothing making me want to come back and buy something. Just nice little statues and a tv with names and prices.

Good thing I don’t need to show face there no more cause I wouldn’t even bother coming back. No hate at all congrats on the business but get people that reflect you want your business to be about. Idk

:response: yeah they didn’t seem new they were holding down the fort just fine by themselves. But having customer service isn’t something that’s taught it’s something that should be natural. But I’m good not coming back unless I’m doing a favor for someone again.

Finally a real cannabis dispensary in Buffalo. They are not perfect, but they did such a great job with customer service that I think it's worth 5 stars. Cons first. They are hard to find. Thank the silicon overlords that we have gps, because otherwise you have to be standing on top of it before you notice the branding. This might be intentional to avoid bringing the neighborhood down, but it does the opposite, making it look like the adult bookstores that used to dot Chippewa back in the 80s. The prices are also higher than one would like, especially compared to the local black market rates. But here you know the products are legit and they are actually what they say they are.

Now the good parts. Once inside the storefront is excellent. It is clean, well stocked, and professional in appearance. The staff are all attentive and very helpful. They also seem honest, willing to admit ignorance rather than make something up. The product itself is excellent. Everyone in the city claims to have live rosin vapes, but this is the only place with full spectrum live rosin rather than the melted diamonds. I noticed immediate differences in potency. Best part was the customer service. I had a small issue that I contacted the store about.
