Cluggy’s Family Amusement Center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is a long-running indoor/outdoor family fun center that offers a wide range of entertainment for kids, teens, and families. It first opened in 1993 and remains a popular local spot. #cluggys #minigolf #puttputt

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We went here and we're having fun at first. However, that quickly changed. At first it was just a minor pay discrepancy, which was no biggie I guess. They charged us $8 for a bracelet that should have been $6. It said toddler bracelets are $6. So we asked them about it and they said, 0-2 is considered a toddler, and 3 and up is not. Which would make sense if they didn't have a sign in the toddler area saying, "TODDLERS ONLY... Infants to age 5." This would insinuate that they determine toddlers are age 0-5. So they lied to us about the toddlers being only age 0-2 since they have signs proving other wise. Again, it wouldn't have been that big of an issue, and I would have only left a 3 star rating. However, later on we also encountered 2 rude associates who didn't want to do their job and provided the worst quality of customer service imaginable. So one of the machines jipped my 3 year old (who is a toddler by the way) out of tickets on the machine he was playing with. My pregnant wife asked about the tickets to 2 associates who rudely turned their back on her and ignored her. Then when she spoke up about it again the one associate responded with an, OH my gosh." Don't work in customer service if you cant handle the responsibilities that come along with dealing with customers. It's honestly not that difficult to provide good customer service. After spending $350 here, you'd think they'd have a little more respect and decency towards people. I'll probably never come here again because of this horrid experience.

Cluggy's Amusement Center was a great time. I never laughed so hard as I was watching the batting cage. The games are great. I never made it outside to ride the go carts or mini golf because of the rain. There's so much to do inside. The kids area was huge, you can really loose a kid in those tunnels! All in all a great place to spend a day. The prices were reasonable compared to the Stevens City complex down interstate 81.

We have been loyal patrons of Cluggy’s for many years, and it has always been one of our son’s favorite places. However, after our recent experience hosting a birthday party there, we will never book another event at this establishment again. What was supposed to be a fun and memorable celebration turned into an absolute disaster, thanks to the unprofessional, disorganized, and careless staff. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that there was no structure, no guidance, and no effort to assist guests. The staff seemed overwhelmed, yet instead of handling the situation professionally, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Not once did anyone check to see if we needed anything. When we did ask for assistance, we were met with eye rolls, attitude, and complete indifference. At one point, I approached an employee for help, and she had the audacity to tell me to “ask someone else” before walking away. The level of customer service was beyond unacceptable—it was outright disrespectful. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that there was no structure, no guidance, and no effort to assist guests. The level of customer service was beyond unacceptable—it was outright disrespectful.Hosting a birthday party here was nothing short of a nightmare. We had to wait in ridiculously long lines just to ask for basic necessities like napkins and utensils to cut the cake—things that should have been provided without question. The disorganization was so severe that it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by expecting the bare minimum. To make matters worse, the place was filthy. The front eating area was covered in spills and trash, clearly neglected by staff. At one point, a child in our party accidentally spilled a drink, and not only did no one come to help, but we weren’t even given supplies to clean it up ourselves. The lack of cleanliness was disgusting and created hazards for everyone walking through the area. And let’s talk about the arcade machines—several were either broken or failing to dispense tickets, and when we brought it to the staff’s attention, they acted bothered by the request, as if doing their job was too much to ask. The overall attitude of the employees was one of complete disinterest, as if they couldn’t care less whether guests were having a good experience or not.Cluggy’s used to be a great place for families, but this experience proved otherwise. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, disgusting conditions, and overall neglect have made it crystal clear that they have no interest in maintaining the quality that once made this place enjoyable. While we might return for a casual visit, we will never host another party or special event here again. Management needs to take a serious look at their staff, their organization, and their standards—because right now, they’re...

I don’t really know where to begin. We had our “spot 2” reserved well in advance for our son’s 6th birthday party. We arrived with our son’s name on the television screen in the reserved spot at Cluggy’s. We began setting up before his guests arrived, only to have a random woman off of her rocker try to stop us, saying this was her child’s spot and she had requested it. After laughing and showing her it was obviously my sons section by pointing at the screen with his name on it, she continued to tell us we needed to leave because she knows the owner and that it was her child’s area because she didn’t like the upper section. Considering our reservation showed it was our spot and my child’s name was already there, it seemed pretty cut and dry that she was in the wrong. Apparently, she did know the owner, as we were forced to the “unwanted area” by staff with Karen’s child's name on the screen. Supposedly, she had requested our spot. We received an email 15 minutes after we were moved to the other area, stating our accommodations had been changed. 15 minutes after we had expressed that spot 2 was ours in the reservation and that we did not want to move. I guess we should have called and requested the spot that we already had reserved? Makes sense, right? To top it off, guests arrived confused because another child’s name was on the screen that they neglected to change. Some of the staff seemed to genuinely be concerned and felt bad, while others and management were just flat out rude and gave us the “not my problem” response. It is stressful enough to prepare for such an event as a child’s birthday celebration to try to make it perfect for them. If Cluggy’s goal was to make it as anxiety ridden and stressful as possible, then they earn 5 stars. The only reason I gave 2 stars, is because the children did seem to have fun with the tunnels, bounce houses and games. Most certainly not a place to have a child’s birthday party unless you’re friends with the owner. I strongly advise against it. Maybe more like a place to stop on a random rainy day. Extremely disappointed that the quality of my innocent son’s party was sacrificed because of another adult “knowing someone”. They...

The staff there on Monday September 7th was very unfriendly. This was the worst experience I ever had!!!!! I am a single mother of three and I do not get to do many days out like this with my kids due to the money is just not there. My father took us all out to have a good time. We were having such a good time that we didn't realize it was closing time. The one staff member told us we had two minuets to finish up our games because they were closing. It took us a little longer then two minutes to cash in our tickets for a print out and then we had to get our prizes. I have three children mind you that got their own tickets and wanted their own prizes, but the staff member said why don't I add them all up and they can split the amount. I said they don't want to do that. The lady then took my one child's tickets and gave her the prizes she wanted and then told me that it was after hours so my other two will have to come back for their prizes. I said what?!!! I said I don't know if we will get to come back and she said, well I'll give you a slip that is good for a year. I said I don't know if we will be able to come back. She wrote the slip up and that was that. Meanwhile they were to be closed but they left two people come in and those people stood there at the counter as the three employees were closing. I was pissed!!!!!!!! I had to ride home listening to my two kids cries because they didn't get their prizes. Who in there right mind does this to a family??!!! I am completely heart broken. What do I say to my children who couldn't get their prizes while they watch their sister play with hers!!!??? I am so upset at the way we were treated. It was 7:30 pm when we pulled out onto the highway what would it have been if they would have just taken...
