We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Emma during our visit to the Savannah Bee Company, and she made our experience truly unforgettable! FAVORITE SHOP EVER. and i mean ever. and i love to shop. Savannah Bee Company has the best aesthetic, the best honey selection, the best mead tastings, the best employees! If I lived in Charleston or Savannah I would absolutely want to work there just for fun & the experience! I love that they regularly switch up the meads to try! I have done 3 tastings since last November & they’re great! I love that you can literally sample basically everything in this shop! The honey pours are delicious, too hard to choose a favorite! Their body butters made with royal jelly from the queen bee is SO soft & smells INCREDIBLE! also, this is one of the best parts! you can adopt a honey bee for only $1! so adopt tons & help us keep honey around & the bees alive! We stopped by twice. The first time Julian was serving and he was great. Knowledgeable and helpful. We bought a few bottles. A few days later we stopped in to try the Superstition flight. We knew it was a lot more expensive but it was supposed to come with food pairings. Charlotte helped us this day and she knew very little about mead or the products and we did not receive any pairings with our tasting. She also touch the top of the glasses with her bare hands before giving them to us each time. I thought maybe it would be less expensive without the food pairings, but it was not. If you go, try and go when Julian is there since you'll have a much better experience.
